摘要: A camera is disclosed which is capable of winding and rewinding a film and adjusting a focal distance by use of a single motor. In the camera, the forward rotation of the motor is used to wind the film, and when the film winding operation is completed after termination of photographing, on detecting the end of the film, a torque detect mechanism switches a planetary clutch mechanism to connect the motor with a film rewinding mechanism. Thus, it is possible to perform both the film winding and rewinding operations by use of the rotation of the motor in the same direction. Also, when, with the planetary clutch mechanism connected with the film winding mechanism, the motor is rotated reversely, then the power transmission system is switched over to a focal distance varying mechanism, whereby the focal distance can be adjusted.

摘要: A radio receiver which performs iterative decoding of a received signal is provided. The radio receiver comprises: a receiving unit receiving a signal on a symbol-by-symbol basis; a demodulation unit (303) demodulating the received signal; a last symbol timing generation unit (308) generating a last symbol timing signal on the basis of the signal demodulated by the demodulation unit (303); a modulation unit (304) modulating the signal demodulated by the demodulation unit (303); and a cancellation unit (306) cancelling an interference component of the received signal using a replica signal generated on the basis of the signal modulated by the modulation unit (304). The modulation unit (304) controls the timing of rearrangement of a data sequence on the basis of the timing of the last symbol. Thus, a radio receiver in which the receiving processing time is reduced can be provided.

摘要: An image forming apparatus uses a two-component developer containing a toner and a carrier. The apparatus has a latent image bearer for bearing an electrostatic latent image. A toner bearer bears the toner to be conveyed to a development region to develop the electrostatic latent image. A developer bearer bears the two-component developer and supplies the toner to the toner bearer. A regulator sets the thickness of a toner layer carried on the toner bearer to 6 μm to 15 μm and sets a difference between a half width of a first toner charge number distribution as a number distribution of the charge amount of the toner carried on the toner bearer and that of a second toner charge number distribution as a number distribution of the charge amount of the toner in the two-component developer carried on the developer bearer to 0.8 (10−10 C/m) or smaller.

摘要: An electronic flash is provided for a body of a portable phone with a camera, and the electronic flash emits light by a release operation of a shutter release button, thereby photographing a subject by illuminating with a light. A backlight of a liquid crystal display and an electronic flash discharge tube of the electronic flash which correspond with a noise source are contained in containers which are formed on the surface of an electromagnetic shield frame, and an electronic circuit board of the portable phone with a camera is mounted on the back side of the electromagnetic shield frame, so that a shield unit is constructed. Therefore, radio waves generated from the electronic flash and the liquid crystal display are attenuated before reaching the electronic circuit board, and misoperations of the portable phone due to the radio waves can be prevented.

摘要: A shutter release member is rotatably coupled to a lens holder covering member. When a shutter button is depressed, a lever is rotated in counterclockwise direction, so the electrical contact assembly is also rotated. The movement of the electrical contact assembly is larger than that of the shutter button. Then, third and fourth electrical contact arms come in contact with fourth and fifth electrical contact pads, by which red-eye reduction device is activated. Concurrently, a shutter actuation lever is moved to activate a shutter mechanism for carry out an exposure. When an external force applied to the shutter button is weakened, the shutter actuation lever returns back to initial position by a bias of a biasing plate. A sixth electrical contact arm is moved to come in contact with a third electrical contact again, so a film winding mechanism is activated to feed a photo filmstrip by one frame.

摘要: A field frame for use with a finder which provides arbitrary or stepwise switches of an aspect ratio of the finder. The field frame is made up of a standard field frame, a first L-shaped field switch frame having a dowel pin and two elongated holes, and a second L-shaped field switch frame having a dowel pin and two elongated holes. These two L-shaped field switch frames are piled up one on top of the other in such a manner that dowel pins standing on the main body of the standard field frame fit into the superposed elongated holes of the L-shaped field switch frames. A driving wheel having engaging cutouts is also superposed on the L-shaped field switch frames so that the engaging cutouts can engage with the dowel pins of the field switch frames. The driving wheel is also provided with a lever. The clockwise rotation of the driving wheel causes the field switch frames to conceal the right and left edges of the standard field frame, whilst the counterclockwise rotation of the driving wheel causes the field switch frames to conceal the upper and lower edges of the standard field frame.

摘要: A tandem-type vacuum booster comprises a partition plate fixedly mounted in a booster shell for partitioning the interior of the booster shell into a front shell chamber and a rear shell chamber; a front booster piston dividing said front shell chamber into a front-side fore vacuum chamber connected to a vacuum pressure source and a rear-side fore operating chamber; a rear booster piston dividing the rear shell chamber into a front-side hind vaccum chamber and a rear-side hind operating chamber, the both booster pistons being interconnected through a piston boss slidably carried on the partition plate and connected to an output rod; a valve tube integrally connected to the piston boss to project from a rear end of the piston boss and slidably supported on a rear wall of the booster shell; a first port permitting the interior of the valve tube to communicate with both the vaccum chambers; a second port permitting the interior of the valve tube to communicate with both the operating chambers, the first port being comprised of an axial port permitting the communication between the fore vacuum chamber and the valve tube and a radial port permitting the communication between the axial port and the hind vaccum chamber; an input rod movable back and forth within the valve tube; and a control valve for changing over the communications of the second port with the first port and the atmosphere depending upon the backward and forward movements of the input rod, the input rod and the control valve being disposed within the valve tube. In such tandem-type vacuum booster, a portion, closer to the fore vacuum chamber, of the opened edge of the radial port which is closer to the axial port is offset radially outwardly more than a portion closer to the valve tube to provide a step between both the portions. This makes it possible to provide a silent vaccum bosster in which the air-cutting-through noise is prevented.

摘要: A shutter driving mechanism used in a camera which has a focusing ring rotatable about the optical axis of an objective lens includes a motor driven shutter operating ring rotatable coaxially with the focusing ring. The shutter operating ring and the focusing ring are operationally interconnected with each other by a clutch mechanism which is adapted to disconnect the interconnected rings from each other in response to a focus signal produced by an automatic focus detecting device incorporated in the camera. The focusing ring is rotationally moved by the motor driven shutter operating ring to produce the axial movement of the objective lens in order to position the latter to a proper focus position. The clutch mechanism releases the interconnection between the rings in response to a focus signal produced by an automatic focus detecting device so as to leave the focusing ring at a position where the objective lens is positioned in order to properly focus an image of an object to be photographed on the image plane of the camera, while the shutter operating ring continues to move rotationally for performing the shutter operation.

摘要: An image forming apparatus has an image carrier for carrying toner. A charger charges the surface of the image carrier and an exposure part then forms an electrostatic latent image thereon. A developer uses toner to develop the electrostatic latent image and a transfer part transfers a toner image from the image carrier to a recording medium. A cleaning roller has a circumferential surface that contacts with the surface of the image carrier and removes deposits therefrom by using toner that the circumferential surface carries. A carrier driver drives the image carrier and a power detector detects power consumption of the carrier driver. A roller controller determines, based on the detected power consumption whether a removal capacity of the cleaning roller to remove the deposits needs to be increased, and then controls rotation of the cleaning roller in response to a result of the determination.
