    摘要： In order to simplify the design and use of a belt clasp whilst at the same time increasing the reliability and maintaining the integrity of the belt, and ensuring the integrity of the chain in the event of increased, differently directed static and dynamic mechanical loads, and the possibility of use of the front surfaces of the chain as information carriers and design means, in the belt clasp, which comprises two interlocking parts in the form of a linkage and a buckle connected to the belt, the linkage is formed with an internal through-opening for the belt, with arcuate lateral projections and a gap between the arcuate lateral projections with a size equal to or greater than twice the thickness of the belt but less than the width of the belt, while the buckle is formed with a transverse width that is greater than the width of the internal through-opening for the belt in the linkage. Furthermore, the linkage is capable of attachment to a belt, a bag, a briefcase, a case, an instrument case, a load transfer or transportation means or to any other article requiring a temporary connection, while the linkage and the buckle comprise means for mutual fixing when the said linkage and buckle are closed, for example, the means which are in the form of a T-shaped projection arranged on the buckle and a T-shaped opening in the linkage, magnets, velcro fasteners, clips, snap locks or any other functionally similar mutual fixing means.

    摘要： A self-clamping attachment loop of a strap comprises a pair of superposed rings in the form of rectangular frames having two openings of different sizes, and a transverse slot for the strap to pass through. The loop is either in a locked position following application of a clamping force or in an unlocked position due to a voluntary unlocking action causing sliding of the second ring and an increase of the passage zone of the strap in the slot after rocking of the loop. The external edge of the cross-piece of the second ring is located permanently away from the parallel edge of the first ring in order not to hamper the rocking movement.

    摘要： The invention relates to plate type buckles for safety belts of the kind formed of flat webbing and is particularly concerned with such a buckle wherein engagement between the two parts can only occur when the webbing is not twisted in a way which would lead to slipping occurring when a load is applied to the belt. The buckle comprises a main plate which is attached to one end of the belt and a top plate which is slidably attached in a manner allowing adjustment of the working length of the belt. The belt is turned back in a loop around a webbing bar in the top plate and the main plate has an aperture therethrough capable of passing the loop and a slot in each of opposed longitudinally extending sides of said aperture to extend the width of the aperture for facilitating passage of said top plate in edgewise orientation with respect to said main plate. One slot is deeper than the other and the width of the top plate beyond the width of the belt at respective sides of the loop substantially corresponds to the depth of respective slots so that the top plate and loop may pass through in one orientation but not when the belt webbing is twisted through 180.degree.. Means for reducing the possibility of accidental disengagement of the buckle as well as means for reducing belt "creep" are also described.
