Abstract: A vacuum cleaning apparatus is provided which includes a housing having a handle portion and a nozzle portion. A reservoir is defined in the housing for retaining cleaning solution or water, and a heating unit is associated with the reservoir for heating the liquid so as to generate steam for delivery to a flat surface such as a window to be cleaned. A squeegee assembly is mounted to the housing adjacent the nozzle portion for wiping the window after liquid has been deposited thereon. A motor driven fan assembly is disposed within the housing in communication with the nozzle portion for drawing excess liquid and debris into the nozzle portion. The nozzle portion defines structure for separating and containing the liquid which is drawn into the apparatus.

Abstract: A multi-function glass cleaning apparatus having a container provided With an opening closable by a plug, two principal opposite faces and two side walls, for receiving and storing a cleaning fluid. A handle is formed integrally with the container and defines a hand grasping portion. The hand grasping portion is transverse to the side walls. A first support member is formed integrally with the container on one of the faces thereof for supporting a scraping element which is secured to it. The first support member is parallel to the hand grasping portion and has a trough extending lengthwise thereof. The trough is in communication with the container via a small aperture. A second support member is formed integrally with the container for supporting a wiper which is secured to it. The second support member is parallel to the hand grasping portion and to the first support member. The apparatus has a mechanism for opening and closing the aperture so as to control the rate of feed of the cleaning fluid from the container through the aperture to the scraping element. When the apparatus is being used, the cleaning fluid contained in the container can exit the container through the aperture at a selected rate of feed and flow through the trough to wet the scraping element evenly.

Abstract: A squeegee-type cleaning device for washing windows and other structures has a holder with a brush, a support for the holder, a wiper blade adjacent the brush and a fluid supply connected by a hose to the holder. Apertures provided along the length of the holder allow fluid to be pumped from the supply along the entire length of the brush. A manually operated pump is provided to pump this fluid. Abstract: A cleaning and buffing device for curved surfaces is disclosed in which a tapered cleaning element is rotatably secured to a C-shaped bracket element having a first arm, a second arm, and a connecting member affixed to an elongated handle. Abstract: The handle of a window cleaning device has a opening through which a squeeze bottle for water protrudes. A vaporizing chamber is partially embedded in a heat conductive core associated with one or more heating elements and forms at one end a dispensing nozzle continuously open to ambient atmosphere. The squeeze bottle is adapted to dispense cleaning fluid such as water into the vaporizing chamber wherein it is vaporized and subsequently discharged as a high velocity vapor through the nozzle. A wiper blade is attached to the device adjacent the discharge nozzle to strike off the condensed vapor formed on a window or like surface for cleaning purposes.
