Abstract: A heavy duty tire can have a tread portion that includes a plurality of circumferential grooves that zigzag, a plurality of lateral grooves connecting between zigzag vertexes of the circumferential grooves, and a plurality of hexagonal blocks formed by the circumferential grooves and the lateral grooves. A groove depth of the circumferential groove can be 21 mm or more. Each of the hexagonal blocks can include a three-dimensional sipe extending across the hexagonal block. The lateral groove can include a raised portion formed by raising a groove bottom of the lateral groove to connect between the hexagonal blocks adjacent to each other in the tire circumferential direction.

Abstract: A tire includes a tread portion including four circumferential grooves extending continuously in the tire circumferential direction and five land portions divided by the four circumferential grooves. The five land portions include a first middle land portion located between a first tread edge and a tire equator. The first middle land portion is provided with first middle sipes inclined with respect to a tire axial direction and fully traversing the first middle land portion in the tire axial direction. Each first middle sipe includes a pair of sipe edges, and at least one of the pair of sipe edges opens at the ground contact surface via a chamfer portion over an entire length thereof. The chamfer portion has a chamfer width increasing continuously from a first longitudinal edge to a second longitudinal edge of the first middle land portion.

Abstract: A pneumatic tire has paired bead portions, paired sidewall portions, a tread portion, a plurality of lug grooves extending from a shoulder area of the tread portion to reach a buttress area of the sidewall portion, and a block defined by the plurality of lug grooves. The block includes a shoulder block provided in the shoulder area, and a buttress block provided in the buttress area. The buttress area is provided with an annular rib annularly extending along a tire circumferential direction. The lug grooves are comparted into an outside lug groove positioned in an outer side of the annular rib, and an inside lug groove positioned in an inner side of the annular rib. A widened portion is provided in at least part of the plurality of lug grooves so as to enlarge a width of the annular rib.
