    Abstract: A tread portion 2 includes four circumferential grooves 3 and five land portions 4. Each of the five land portions 4 is provided with no groove having a groove width greater than 2.0 mm, and is provided with only sipes 9. The four circumferential grooves 3 include a shoulder circumferential groove 5. The five land portions 4 include a shoulder land portion 11 and a middle land portion 13. The middle land portion 13 is provided with a plurality of middle sipes 30. The shoulder land portion 11 is provided with a plurality of shoulder sipes 20 each extending from the shoulder circumferential groove 5 to a position beyond a tread end. At least one of the shoulder sipes 20 includes an inclined portion 21. A maximum angle of the inclined portion 21 with respect to a tire axial direction is not greater than a maximum angle of the middle sipe 30 with respect to the tire axial direction. A difference between the maximum angle of the inclined portion 21 and the maximum angle of the middle sipe 30 is not greater than 5°.

    Abstract: A tread pattern of a pneumatic tire includes one center continuous land portion and two intermediate continuous land portions that are divided by four circumferential main grooves and that are not provided with lug grooves. Edges on both sides of one center main groove include groove chamfered portions having a chamfered width changing in the circumferential direction in a zigzag shape. In the regions of the intermediate continuous land portions, first sipes extending inward in the lateral direction from shoulder main grooves of the main grooves, which are positioned on outer sides in the lateral direction, are provided. The first sipes each include a sipe main body portion having a constant distance between sipe wall surfaces on a sipe bottom side and a sipe chamfered portion inclined so that the sipe wall surfaces are open toward the tread surface.

    Abstract: A tread portion has an outer tread end that is positioned on an outer side of a vehicle when mounted to the vehicle, a plurality of circumferential grooves that extend continuously in a tire circumferential direction, and a plurality of land portions that are defined by the circumferential grooves. The circumferential grooves include an outer circumferential groove that extends adjacently to a tire equator in a region closer to the outer tread end than the tire equator is. The land portions include an outer shoulder land portion that is defined between the outer circumferential groove and the outer tread end so as to continuously extend therebetween in a tire axial direction, and that has the largest width in the tire axial direction among the land portions. The outer shoulder land portion has a first outer lateral groove that extends inward in the tire axial direction and terminates in the outer shoulder land portion. An angle of the first outer lateral groove relative to the tire axial direction at a terminating position in the outer shoulder land portion is 0 to 20°.

The present invention is a pneumatic radial tire for a passenger car, in which: a carcass and a tread are provided; the tread is integrated into a standardized rim; when internal pressure is at a standardized internal pressure, the tire has a cross-sectional width Wt (mm) and an outer diameter Dt (mm) satisfying 1963.4≤(Dt2π/4)/Wt≤2827.4; the tread comprises at least one main groove in a running surface of the tread, extending in the circumferential direction of the tread; the land/sea ratio at the tread running surface is greater than 55% and less than 85%; and a rubber composition that forms the tread has a loss tangent (tan δ) which, when measured at a frequency of 10 Hz, an initial strain of 2%, and a dynamic strain rate of 1%, is such that |20° C. tan δ-50° C. tan δ| is at least 0.01 and less than 0.15, and 15° C. tan δ-20° C. tan δ| is greater than 0.15 and less than 0.70.

    Abstract: A stud pin includes a tip and a body portion provided around a center axis of the stud pin. The body portion includes an upper flange, a lower flange, and a shank portion connecting the upper flange and the lower flange.
