摘要: A juvenile vehicle seat comprises a set shell and a juvenile restraint harness with shoulder strap portions. A harness control panel is provided on the front surface of the back of the seat shell to be adjustably movable to raise and lower the shoulder strap portions. A panel height adjustment mechanism is provided on the back of the seat shell to adjust the position of the panel. A shoulder strap tensioner is provided coupled to the height adjustment mechanism.

摘要: The present invention is directed to a "fold-out" or integral child seat having a mechanism interconnecting a seatback member, a headrest member and a seat member for causing coordinated movement therebetween. When it is desired to deploy the integral child seat, the seatback member is moved to a tilted position and the headrest member is elevated while the seat member is moved to a lowered position for establishing an upright sitting position. Additionally, the integral child seat may be deployed to a reclined position wherein the seatback member is automatically moved to a second tilted position and the headrest member is moved to a second elevated position in coordination with the movement of the seat member to a second lowered position. As a result, movement of the integral child seat between its stowed and first and second deployed positions can be accomplished with relative ease and convenience to the person attempting such movement.

摘要: An infant-restraining protective seat (1) includes a seat back (3) tiltably attached to the body (7) of a seat portion via a turning shaft (20), with the seat portion (2) and seat back (3) being foldable. A torsion spring (54) is interposed between the body (7) of he seat portion and the seat back (3). The torsion spring (54) is adapted to assume a free state when an upper hook pin (52) is at an .alpha. position. Under these conditions, the seat back (3) is capable of tilting forward to .beta. under its own weight. When the seat back 3 is tilted in the direction of .beta., shock is mitigated by the torsion spring (54). When the seat back (3) is tilted toward .gamma. and .delta., half-latching and play in the back-and-forth direction are prevented. When the infant-restraining protective seat (1) is not in use, the protective seat is folded up to reduce its size and can then be stored. The seat (1) can be carried about and set up on a vehicle seat much more easily. In addition, only a small amount of space is necessary for storage.

摘要: An infant-restraining protective seat includes an upper bracket (50) secured to a seat back. In order that a seat back (3) may be locked at any of three reclining angles, three locking holes (65), (66), (67) through which a locking pin (56) is passed are provided in a circular portion (50b) of the upper bracket on the circumference of a circle of a prescribed radius from the center of the circular portion. In order to lock the seat back at a folded position, the circular portion (50b) is provided with a locking hole (68), located on the same circumference as the locking holes (65), (66), (67), through which the locking pin (56) is passed. Each of the locking holes (65), (66), (67), (68) is elliptical in form, with the ellipse having a minor axis (f) and a major axis (b). In this case, the minor axis (f) is set to have a size that allows the locking pin (56) to be passed through and slid along the hole with almost no gap between the pin (55) and the walls of the hole. The locking holes (65) , (66) , (67) , (58) are so arranged that the minor axis (f) of each hole lies in the circumferential direction of a circle concentric with a hole (64) .

The child restraint system comprises a toddler seat adapted to be mounted on the seat of an automobile, the toddler seat including a seat portion and spaced apart armrest portions extending upwardly from opposite sides of said seat portion, the toddler seat thus being adapted to serve as a booster seat in the automobile for a toddler age child, the toddler seat including latch means cooperating with each of the armrest portions thereof, a toddler restraining arm adapted to be mounted between the armrest portions across and above the seat portion when a toddler is positioned in the toddler seat, the toddler restraining arm including respective latch members at opposite ends thereof for detachable connection with the latch means of the armrest portion, an infant carrier positionable in the toddler seat to permit converting the toddler seat for receiving and carrying an infant, the infant carrier including respective latch members on opposite sides thereof for detachable connection with the latch means of the armrest portions to thereby permit easily removing the infant carrier for use in carrying an infant outside of the automobile.

摘要: A vehicle seat reclining device is disclosed. An operation mechanism allows a second memory member to engage with and disengage from a first memory member, and locks and unlocks a lock member in conjunction with the engagement and disengagement. When the first memory member is in a predetermined rotational position relative to the second rotating member, the second memory member is inserted into an engagement slot provided in the first memory member, thereby restricting rotation of the first memory member relative to the second rotating member. The operation mechanism includes a link member that is linked to the second memory member inserted into a guide hole provided in a plate-shaped member. In the thickness direction of the plate-shaped member, the link member is arranged on the same side of the plate-shaped member as the first memory member.
