    Abstract: According to the application, a limiting device is used for limiting a pivoting of a side impact protection block in respect to a child safety seat, and the limiting device includes: a mounting portion, located on a seat body of the child safety seat and arranged close to the side impact protection block; and a restricting member, has a free end and is arranged on the mounting portion, such that the restricting member is movable between a locked position and a released position. In the locked position, the free end of the restricting member abuts against the side impact protection block to prevent the side impact protection block from moving in an unfolding direction in respect to the child safety seat, and in the released position, the free end of the restricting member is away from the side impact protection block to allow side impact protection block to move in the unfolding direction in respect to the child safety seat. The application also relates to a child safety seat including the limiting device according to the application.

    Abstract: A lateral shock absorber is provided and includes a protective fender and a locking mechanism. The protective fender is pivoted to a base of a child car safety seat and pivotally switchable relative to the base. The locking mechanism is for selectively engaging with the protective fender to restrain the protective fender from switching to an unfolded state or disengaging from the protective fender to allow the protective fender to switch to the unfolded state when the protective fender is located in a folded state. The locking mechanism includes a locking assembly and an abutting block.     Abstract: Embodiments of a car seat include an outer protective shell, an inner seat, a suspension system connecting and permitting relative movement between the inner seat and the outer protective shell. The suspension system may include a plurality of deformable webs. Also, at least one padding element may be in contact with and interposed between the outer protective shell and the inner seat. In an accident, regardless of the direction in which the seat is facing and regardless of whether the result is a sudden acceleration and/or deceleration, the inner seat will move inside the frame, and the suspension system will absorb some, much, or all of the energy either by elastic or plastic deformation. Energy not absorbed by the suspension system may be absorbed by the inner seat itself and/or an anchor system used to connect the car seat to a vehicle.
