A lower wall depends from the periphery of the body portion in a first direction, and has an interior wall surface defining a sealing feature operable to sealably engage the rim of the container. A spout extends in a second direction from the body portion, and defines a flow limiting facility to permit passage of beverage fluids under suction, and to limit passage of fluids under gravity. The flow limiting facility may be one or more apertures of limited size, or a valve in the spout, and the wall may include several different diameter sealing features, such that different size containers may be used.

摘要： A tab top beverage can has a compressible drinking straw held between the can bottom and an upwardly extending detachable closed cavity formed in the can top. Detachment of the cavity by a pivoting tab top uncovers a straw access orifice through which the straw is projected by the force of a previously compressed corrugated spring section formed in the straw wall. A bulge located on the straw prevents passage of the straw from the can and facilitates extension of the straw. The tab is attached to the can top by outwardly projecting lips formed on upwardly projecting closed cavities defined in the can top. The cavities extend through openings in the tab and the lips extend beyond the opening perimeters to secure the tab to the cavities and top.

摘要： By lifting the other end of a grip, one end of the grip presses down a can lid portion, and a can opening is formed in a can upper wall while a score line delimiting the can lid portion is torn. The can lid portion is moved into the beverage can, an edge of the can lid portion, which is opposed to the other end of the grip is moved and contacted to a connection piece thereby to bend the connection piece along its score line. Accordingly, the continuously moving can lid portion pulls the connection piece toward the center of the beverage can, and a rotating member integrally connected to the connection piece is rotated about the line connecting the centers of a pair of projections. As the rotating member is rotated, an upper end of the rotating member is moved toward the can opening, and a bellows part of a straw, which is prevented from upward expanding, projects through the can opening and beyond the can upper wall. Therefore, it is possible to drink beverage through the projected straw.

摘要： A beverage container has a straw-dispensing mechanism that is disposed within the container to bring the straw into alignment with the orifice in the top of the container. When the orifice is opened, the straw elevates through the orifice to become accessible to the user. In one embodiment, the straw is attached to a buoyant member which urges the straw into contact with a contoured surface on the can lid. In a second embodiment, the straw engages a floating member which is urged against the lid of the container. In a third embodiment, a buoyant member is integrally formed with the straw and is disposed orthogonally within the body of the can. In a fourth embodiment, the floating member includes a surface treated for facilitating the nucleation of CO.sub.2 thereon. In a fifth embodiment, the floating member is provided with a skirt for entrapping a head space gas bubble under the floating member. In a sixth embodiment, the floating member reacts to a change in pressure to disengage from the container wall. In a seventh embodiment, a latch is provided on the floating member for releasing the floating member from engagement with the container walls. In an eighth embodiment, the floating member is provided with a threaded aperture for releasably engaging a threaded member on the bottom of the container. In a ninth embodiment, a straw positioning member is provided with an inertia latch which opens to increase the diameter of the straw positioning member such that it engages the container wall.

A lid is secured to the open end and having an orifice. A closure tab is pivotally connected to the lid and temporarily closes the orifice. An actuating member is pivotally secured to the lid and is being manually actuated for moving the closure tab into the interior of the body to open the orifice in the lid. The device includes a conduit disposed within the body. A means is disposed within the body and adapted to engage the body for supporting the conduit substantially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the body. Another means forms a float for elevating the conduit through the orifice in the lid when liquid is present within the body and the tab is deflected into the interior of the body to open the orifice. The device may include means for rotating the conduit to align the conduit with the orifice of the lid.
