    摘要： A membrane lid with a surface with a substantially triangular-shaped perimeter. The perimeter includes first, second and third corner portions, wherein each corner portion is bisected by an imaginary line. The membrane lid further includes a projection with a tab and adapted to initially direct a lifting force to at least one of the corner portions. The projection either extends outwardly from the perimeter such that the projection is non-symmetrically disposed with respect to the imaginary line of any adjacent corner portion, or the projection extends non-continuously from an adjacent corner portion and is substantially symmetrically disposed with respect to the imaginary line of the adjacent corner portion. Containers are also provided with a lip having a substantially triangular-shaped horizontal cross-section. The lip includes three corner portions and three sides, wherein the sides of the lip are structured differently than the corner portions of the lip to increase the relative rigidity of the sides with respect to the corner portions such that the corner portions and the sides are adapted to exhibit a substantially uniform reaction pressure when applying a membrane lid to the lip of the container.

    摘要： An invention for the prevention of entry of flying and non-flying stinging insects into open disposable beverage containers. According to the embodiment, the invention is attached to a disposable beverage container over the normal dispensing port to act as a shield to prevent the entry of flying and non-flying insects, debris, or foreign chemicals in either tablet or encapsulated form. The invention is attached during the normal manufacturing process of the disposable beverage container. The invention will not interfere with the normal opening mechanism of the disposable beverage container. Normal manufacturing processes such as argon laser welding, adhesive, ecetra, attach the invention to the disposable beverage container. The invention is manufactured out of the same material, a dissimilar material, or both as the disposable beverage container. The invention incorporates several types of various openings of slotted, circular, elliptical, or geometrical shapes and sizes to allow for the free flow of the contained liquid. The invention will not reduce the recycling characteristics of disposable beverage container.

    摘要： A method for sealing a pouring opening of a container and a container with corresponding structure are described. A sealing element formed of a flat laminated material that covers the pouring opening is connected peripherally of said pouring opening, preferably by welding, to a rim portion of the container. Furthermore, the sealing element is connected e.g. by adhesion, to a lid covering the pouring opening of a closure capmounted on the container. The adherence force of the connection between the closure cap and the sealing element is greater than that between the sealing element and the rim portion of the container. In order to break the sealing element away from the rim portion of the container, the lid must be pivoted away. The arrangement consisting of a container and a closure cap is particularly suitable for storing powdery chemical substances, such as are used e.g. in photographic developing equipment. Opening the lid for the purposes of gaining access to the contents of the container may be effected mechanically.
