The solid-state radiation detector includes multitudes of linear signal wires for detecting recorded image information as image signals, and a signal detection means disposed on an opposing side of the detector substantially orthogonal to the linear signal wires, and connected to the linear signal wires to detect the image signals from the linear signal wires. A connection section of each of the linear signal wires, extending substantially orthogonal to the opposing side, for connection to the signal detection means is disposed such that the distance from the opposing side to each of the connection sections differs with each other.

摘要: The present invention provides a digital x-ray radiographic imaging system. The system is based on a photoconductive detector and an electro-optic light modulator, where the photoconductive detector layer absorbs x-rays that have passed through an object to form an exposure of the object. The absorbed x-rays create a static optical image, which is stored in the electro-optic light modulator, allowing the capture of the optical image to continue over longer time. The optical image is digitized using a scanning system and an external light source. The image is then processed and stored by a computer. After the optical image is recorded, an erasing mechanism is used to reset the system before a new exposure is made.

摘要: A radiation image detector includes a first electrode for transmitting an electromagnetic wave for recording, the electromagnetic wave carrying a radiation image, a photoconductive layer for recording, a plurality of charge-collecting electrodes, and a substrate. The photoconductive layer for recording generates charges by irradiation with the electromagnetic wave for recording that has been transmitted through the first electrode, and has amorphous selenium as its major component and further contains alkali metal. The first electrode, the photoconductive layer for recording, the plurality of charge-collecting electrodes and the substrate are superposed one on another in this order. Further, an amorphous selenium layer is provided as an anti-crystallization layer between the first electrode and the photoconductive layer for recording. The amorphous selenium layer contains at least one element selected from the group consisting of As, Sb and Bi at 5% to 40%.

摘要: A radiation image is read out by causing a linear reading light beam to scan a radiation image sensor, which has a plurality of parallel linear electrodes to output charge signals according to the radiation image upon exposure to a reading light beam in the longitudinal direction of the linear electrodes, and obtaining an image signal by integrating charge signals, output by the respective linear electrodes in response to the scan of the reading light beam. A pulsed light beam which is projected onto the radiation image sensor for a predetermined time in each of the integrating times is employed as the reading light beam, and projection of the pulsed light beam is controlled so that the center of the time for which the pulsed light beam is projected onto the radiation image sensor is earlier than the center of the integrating time.

In the image reading method and apparatus, a past image signal read regarding past image information recorded in the radiation solid-state detector in the past, and an elapsed time from a time of recording the past image information in the radiation solid-state detector to a time of recording the current radiation image information are stored. The current image signal is then corrected based on the recorded past image information and the elapsed time.

摘要: A radiation image detecting system includes a solid radiation detector formed of a first conductive layer which is transparent to recording radiations, a recording photoconductive layer which exhibits photoconductivity upon exposure to the recording radiations passing through the first conductive layer, a charge transfer layer which acts substantially as an insulator to electric charges of the same polarity as that in which the first conductive layer is charged and as a conductor to electric charges reverse to that in which the first conductive layer is charged, a read-out photoconductive layer which exhibits photoconductivity upon exposure to read-out electromagnetic waves, and a second conductive layer which is transparent to the read-out electromagnetic waves. These layers are superposed one on another in this order. A radiation absorbing member which is formed of material absorbent of the recording radiations is provided on the second conductive layer side of the solid radiation detector.
