摘要: System recognition is performed on devices connected to an identical system without recognizing a device of a different system as a device of the identical system in high-frequency communication. In a device network system, an outdoor unit selected from among all outdoor units of a first network performs a recognition process on the outdoor units and indoor units of the first network. In the first network, communication between individual devices including the outdoor units and the indoor units is performed by using a high frequency, and the recognition process performed by the selected outdoor unit uses a recognition signal having a low frequency.

摘要: A defrosting control method for a multi-split system is provided. A multi-split system comprises an outdoor unit and multiple indoor units. An expansion valve is provided on a connecting pipeline between each of the indoor units and the outdoor unit. When the expansion valve of each activated indoor unit is closed and the degree of opening of the expansion valve of each off-state indoor unit is less than or equal to a maximum set degree of opening, the system satisfies a defrosting requirement, and as a result the method controls the expansion valve of each activated indoor unit to remain closed, thereby resolving the issue of a dramatic temperature drop in a room having an activated indoor unit during defrosting and improving user satisfaction. The degree of opening of the expansion valve of a off-state indoor unit is Off_PLS, and is controlled such that Off_PLS=ALL_HP*Avg_PLS/Off_HP. The invention satisfies a defrosting requirement and reduces the degree of opening of the expansion valves as much as possible, thereby preventing damage to a compressor without affecting defrosting.

摘要: An air conditioner, as provided herein, may include a cabinet, an outdoor heat exchanger, an indoor heat exchanger, a compressor, an internal temperature sensor, and a controller. The controller may be configured to initiate a conditioning operation. The conditioning operation may include detecting a learning condition at the air conditioner, identifying a first operating mode, and initiating a learning event at the first operating mode. The conditioning operation may further include measuring performance during the learning event, recording a baseline variable based on the measured performance during the learning event, and measuring performance at the first operating mode. The conditioning operation may still further include recording an operational variable based on the measured performance at the first operating mode, comparing the operational variable of the first operating mode to the baseline variable of the first operating mode, determining a fault state based on the comparison, and recording the fault state.

摘要: An air conditioning apparatus includes: an outdoor unit configured to circulate refrigerant; an indoor unit configured to circulate water; a heat exchange device that connects the indoor unit to the outdoor unit and that is configured to perform heat exchange between the refrigerant and the water; and a plurality of pipes and valves. The heat exchange device includes first and second heat exchangers. The air conditioning apparatus is configured to perform a cooling operation or a heating operation based on operating one or both of the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger and one or more of the valves.

摘要: A common vent application and an independent fan coil are disclosed for improved heating, cooling and water making in a building. The independent fan coil obviates the common boilers and chillers in addition to all the common heating and cooling distribution piping used in known systems. Instead, the fan coils contain all the hydronic heating components and all the components needed to provide AC without the use of common boilers and chilled water systems. The fan coils utilize common vent shaft ducting to exhaust the products of combustion generated for the independent tankless water heater. In addition, the common vent shaft may utilize a negative static pressure environment to exhaust the heat of rejection from the AC portion of the fan coil unit.

摘要: An air-conditioning system includes: a plurality of indoor units including respective wireless communication units each of which emits radio waves; and a mobile terminal unit configured to wirelessly communicate with each of the wireless communication units. The mobile terminal unit detects the radio waves emitted by the wireless communication units, and makes a notification indicating a presence of one or ones of the indoor units that are determined operable based on radio wave intensities of the detected radio waves.

摘要: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for providing non-expert installation of HVAC systems are provided. The HVAC system includes an indoor unit, an outdoor unit, a first pre-charged refrigerant line-set, a second pre-charged refrigerant line-set, and a line-set coupler, each containing pre-pressurized refrigerant securely positioned therein prior to engagement between two or more of the aforementioned elements. The first pre-charged refrigerant line-set is couplable between an indoor unit refrigerant port of the indoor unit and a first coupler end of the line-set coupler. The second pre-charged refrigerant line-set is couplable between an outdoor unit refrigerant pot of the outdoor unit and a second coupler end of the line-set coupler.
