摘要: An actuator in a HVAC system includes a mechanical transducer, a processing circuit, a wireless transceiver, and a power circuit. The processing circuit includes a processor and memory and is configured to operate the mechanical transducer according to a control program stored in the memory. The wireless transceiver is configured to facilitate bidirectional wireless data communications between the processing circuit and an external device. The power circuit is configured to draw power from a wireless signal received via the wireless transceiver and power the processing circuit and the wireless transceiver using the drawn power. The processing circuit is configured to use the power drawn from the wireless signal to wirelessly transmit data stored in the memory of the actuator to the external device via the wireless transceiver, wirelessly receive data from the external device via the wireless transceiver, and store the data received from the external device in the memory.

摘要: For controlling opening (B2) of a valve in an HVAC system to regulate the fluid flow through a thermal energy exchanger and adjust power transfer of the thermal energy exchanger, a control system sets (S6) a control signal for the valve to different setpoints and records (S1) a plurality of data points. Each data point includes for a certain setpoint operating data values related to the power transfer effectuated by the thermal energy exchanger with the control signal set to the certain setpoint. The control system determines (S2) a fitting curve for the data points and determines (S3) a transformation which transforms the fitting curve into a transformed curve having a given target shape. The control system controls (B2) the opening of the valve by transforming (S5) the setpoint to a transformed setpoint, using the transformation, and setting (S6) the control signal for the valve to the transformed setpoint.

摘要: An energy efficient heat pump for a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a compressor system configured to direct a working fluid flow along a working fluid circuit of the energy efficient heat pump. The compressor system includes a first compressor configured to direct the working fluid flow in a first direction along the working fluid circuit and a second compressor configured to direct the working fluid flow in a second direction along the working fluid circuit, opposite the first direction. The energy efficient heat pump also includes a controller communicatively coupled to the first compressor and the second compressor, where the controller is configured to operate the first compressor and suspend operation of the second compressor in a cooling mode of the energy efficient heat pump and to operate the second compressor and suspend operation of the first compressor in a heating mode of the energy efficient heat pump.

摘要: A method and a device for controlling an air conditioner, an air conditioner and a computer-readable storage medium are provided. After the air conditioner is started and runs for a period of time, the gas phase side valve is controlled to open to switch the air conditioner to the phase separation refrigeration mode. In the phase separation refrigeration mode, the gaseous low-temperature refrigerant can be separated through the gas-liquid separation device, and be controlled to reach the heat exchanger. The refrigerant at the outlet of the condenser is heat exchanged again through the gaseous low-temperature refrigerant and the heat exchanger to increase the cooling capacity of the air conditioner.

摘要: An air conditioner is provided that may include an outdoor unit provided with a compressor; a plurality of indoor units connected to the outdoor unit, each having an indoor heat exchanger, and each disposed in a different space; a low pressure pipe that connects the indoor heat exchanger and the compressor and in which low pressure gaseous refrigerant flows; a switching device provided with a low pressure valve disposed between the indoor heat exchanger and the low pressure pipe; an indoor temperature sensor that measures a temperature of a space in which an indoor unit of the respective indoor unit is disposed; and a controller that is electrically connected to the indoor temperature sensor and adjusts an opening degree of the low pressure valve. The controller may adjust the opening degree of the low pressure valve based on a difference between a value measured by the indoor temperature sensor and a previously input set temperature. By increasing an evaporation pressure in the indoor unit, noise from the air conditioner may be suppressed or prevented and comfort improved.

摘要: A shut-off valve control device for a refrigeration cycle includes: a leakage detection unit configured to detect leakage of a refrigerant in a refrigeration cycle including an indoor unit and an outdoor unit; a shut-off valve which is disposed in a pipe that connects the indoor unit with the outdoor unit and which can be opened and closed by supplying electric power; a power failure detection unit configured to detect a power failure; a backup power supply configured to be capable of alternatively supplying power; and a shut-off valve control circuit configured to control the shut-off valve to be closed when the leakage detection unit detects leakage of the refrigerant. The shut-off valve control circuit causes the backup power supply to be started when the power failure detection unit detects a power failure and closes the shut-off valve when the detected power failure exceeds a certain time period.

摘要: Disclosed are methods and functional elements for enhanced thermal management of predominantly enclosed spaces. In particular, the invention enables the construction of buildings with reduced power requirements for heating and/or air-conditioning systems since under certain conditions less energy for heating or cooling is required to maintain, within certain boundaries, desirable temperatures inside such buildings, habitats, or other enclosed spaces.
In some instances the invention is in part based on dynamically changing functional elements with variable properties, or effective properties, in terms of their electromagnetic radiative behavior and/or their thermal energy storage properties, or the spatial distribution of the stored thermal energy, which permits the application of methods and algorithms to control the overall thermal behavior of the entire structure in such a way that desired levels of inside temperature can be reached with reduced consumption of external energy (typically electricity, gas, oil, or coal).
In some instances no conventional heating of cooling is required at all, whereas in other instances the expenditure of external energy for conventional heating or cooling is reduced. In some instances the invention enables the reduction of the time to reach desired temperatures inside such buildings, habitats, or other predominantly enclosed spaces.
In some instances the obtained sensor data may be used to detect the occurrence or imminently predicted occurrence of a catastrophic event, including but not limited to fire or flooding, internal or external to the predominantly enclosed space.
In some embodiments this information may support any single or any combination of locally or remotely alerting humans, alerting rescue units, activating countermeasures, uploading at least partially said sensor data to off-site computers, determining the cause(s) of said catastrophic event, determining liability, determining insure payments, determining insurance premiums.-
