Abstract: A control load is reduced in a fan unit capable of controlling air flow volume. The rotation speed of a fan can be changed. An air flow volume detector detects air flow volume of the fan or equivalent air flow volume that is a physical quantity corresponding to the air flow volume of the fan. A unit casing houses, therein, the fan and the air flow volume detector. A fan controller, which is a controller, controls the rotation speed of the fan. The fan controller controls the rotation speed of the fan on the basis of a command value of the air flow volume of the fan given from outside the unit and a detected value of the air flow volume or the equivalent air flow volume detected by the air flow volume detector.

Abstract: Provided are an electronic device and an air conditioning system capable of reducing an amount of power consumption while maintaining cooling capacity of the air conditioning system, by adaptively adjusting cold water temperature and coolant temperature in consideration of a change of a load. The electronic device according to an embodiment includes: a communicator configured to communicate with an air conditioner including a coil through which cold water flows and a valve for adjusting an amount of the cold water, a chiller unit, and a cooling tower; and a controller configured to determine a target open value of the valve based on a change amount of an air-conditioning load of the air conditioner, and control a temperature of the cold water supplied from the chiller unit to the air conditioner such that an open value of the valve adjust towards the target open value.

Abstract: An air conditioning system includes an indoor electronic expansion valve, and at least one liquid phase branch pipe. Each liquid phase branch pipe includes a first flow pipe and a second flow pipe. An end of the second flow pipe is communicated to an end of the first flow pipe, and another end of the second flow pipe is communicated to the indoor electronic expansion valve. The liquid phase branch pipe is configured to branch or converge a refrigerant flowing through the liquid phase branch pipe. The first flow pipe includes at least one mixing member, each mixing member has a plurality of first through holes, and the plurality of first through holes are used to communicate two ends of the first flow pipe.

Abstract: An energy efficient heat pump for a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a working fluid circuit and a first conduit of the working fluid circuit, where the first conduit extends between a first heat exchanger and a second heat exchanger of the working fluid circuit. The energy efficient heat pump further includes an injection conduit extending from the first conduit to the injection port of the compressor, where the injection conduit includes an expansion device, and the injection conduit is configured to direct a portion of the working fluid from the working fluid circuit, through the expansion device, and to the injection port.

Abstract: A thermostatic radiator valve supports a display that is configurable to display TRV information for a desired viewing direction to facilitate reading by a user, where the TRV comprises a configurable electronic display, a configuration circuit, and a processing device. The configuration circuit is capable of detecting when the TRV has been installed, determining a desired display orientation from a plurality of orientations with respect to a designated surface via a sensor in response to the detecting, and generating a display indicator indicative of the desired display orientation. The processing device is capable of receiving the display indicator and configuring the configurable electronic display to display the TRV information in the desired display orientation.

Abstract: An air conditioner, a heating control method of an air conditioner, and a computer readable storage medium are provided. According to the method, a refrigerant passing through an evaporator is divided by a shunting module into two flows; one flow of the refrigerant is throttled and depressurized by an enhanced vapor injection electronic expansion valve. Based on a difference between an indoor pipe temperature and an exhaust temperature of a compressor of the air conditioner, an opening degree parameter of the enhanced vapor injection electronic expansion valve is controlled to control a refrigerant output amount by the enhanced vapor injection electronic expansion valve. Thus, the refrigerant amount of the flow of refrigerant, subject to throttling and depressurizing, for exchanging heat with the other flow of refrigerant can be controlled to implement an enhanced vapor injection function.

Abstract: An actuator in a HVAC system includes a mechanical transducer, a processing circuit, a wireless transceiver, and a power circuit. The processing circuit includes a processor and memory and is configured to operate the mechanical transducer according to a control program stored in the memory. The wireless transceiver is configured to facilitate bidirectional wireless data communications between the processing circuit and an external device. The power circuit is configured to draw power from a wireless signal received via the wireless transceiver and power the processing circuit and the wireless transceiver using the drawn power. The processing circuit is configured to use the power drawn from the wireless signal to wirelessly transmit data stored in the memory of the actuator to the external device via the wireless transceiver, wirelessly receive data from the external device via the wireless transceiver, and store the data received from the external device in the memory.

The refrigerant flow control device is configured to prevent refrigerant from passing through the refrigerant flow control device when the refrigerant flows in one direction in the header, and to allow the refrigerant to pass through the refrigerant flow control device when the refrigerant flows in a direction opposite to the one direction in the header.
