Abstract: An input device includes a fixed unit, a rotary member rotatably supported by the fixed unit, a rotation-detecting unit that detects a rotation angle of the rotary member, a brake-applying unit that applies a braking force to the rotary member, a torque-applying unit that applies a driving torque to the rotary member, and a control unit that controls the brake-applying unit and the torque-applying unit. The brake-applying unit includes magnetorheological fluid, a brake-applying coil that applies a magnetic field to the magnetorheological fluid, a shaft to which braking torque that changes with viscosity of the magnetorheological fluid is applied, and a transmission gear provided on the shaft and that is in mesh with a gear provided on the rotary member. The shaft is positioned on an outer side with respect to the rotary member in a radial direction of the rotary member.

Abstract: A lens holder driving apparatus includes a fixed member; a lens holder configured to hold a lens body; a shaft member provided on the fixed member and extending along an optical axis direction so as to guide the lens holder; a piezoelectric driver including a piezoelectric element and configured to move the lens holder along the optical axis direction by a movement of the piezoelectric element; a receiving member provided on the lens holder; and a preload member provided on the fixed member. The piezoelectric driver is provided on the fixed member. The receiving member is disposed facing the piezoelectric driver so as to contact the piezoelectric driver, and receives the movement of the piezoelectric element. The piezoelectric driver includes a contact member and is configured to be preloaded toward the receiving member by the preload member such that the receiving member contacts the contact member.

Abstract: A detection unit has a fixed magnet, which is part of a magnetic circuit unit, and also has a movable magnet and a magnetic sensor, which are disposed below a cap. A fixed magnetic field component oriented toward a vibration direction acts on the magnetic sensor due to a leakage flux from the magnetic circuit unit. A movable magnetic field component acts from the movable magnet on the magnetic sensor in a direction crossing the fixed magnetic field component. A change in the angle of a detection magnetic field component, which is a combined vector formed from the magnetic field components in two directions, is detected by the magnetic sensor. According to the output in this detection, the operational position of the movable magnet is measured.

Abstract: A switching device includes a first knob to receive a pressing operation in a first direction; a pressing detection switch to be pressed upon transmission of an operating force of the pressing operation; a decorative member to decorate a periphery of the first knob, that includes an engaged portion; and a holder to engage and hold the decorative member, that includes an engaging portion to engage the engaged portion. In response to the pressing operation by a first stroke amount, by the operating force transmitted to the pressing detection switch without transmitted to the engaged portion, the pressing detection switch is pressed. In response to the pressing operation by a second stroke amount greater than the first stroke amount, by the operating force applied to the first knob being transmitted to the engaged portion, the engaged portion elastically deforms, and engagement of the engaging/engaged portions is released.

Abstract: In order to provide a receiver capable of accurately determining a phase difference of I/Q signals, a receiver includes a section detector configured to detect a section between a rising and a falling of a phase based on the rising and the falling of the phase represented by I/Q signals generated based on an advertisement packet transmitted from a transmitter, and a section setting unit configured to identify, within the section between the rising and the falling of the phase, a period in which a first variation amount of the phase is equal to or less than a first predetermined amount, and use the identified period as a section for detecting the phase of the I/Q signals. The section detector detects the rising when a first phase is smaller than a last phase among a plurality of phases acquired by sampling the phases.
