    Abstract: A module drive device that includes: a module holder configured to hold an optical module including a lens body and an imaging device; a connection member connected to the module holder such that the module holder is swingable around a first axis intersecting an optical axis direction; a fixed-side member connected to the connection member such that the connection member is swingable around a second axis perpendicular to an axial direction of the first axis; a driver that moves the module holder with respect to the fixed-side member; a first engagement part provided such that the module holder is swingable around the first axis; and a second engagement part provided such that the connection member is swingable around the second axis.

    Abstract: A module drive device that includes: a movable-side member that includes a module holder configured to hold an optical module that includes a lens body, a substrate member, and an image sensor that is mounted on an upper surface of the substrate member so as to face the lens body in an optical axis direction; a fixed-side member mounted so as not to be movable relative to a heat dissipation member that dissipates heat generated by the image sensor; a driver that moves the movable-side member with respect to the fixed-side member by utilizing a plurality of shape-memory alloy wires provided between the fixed-side member and the movable-side member; and a biasing unit for biasing the module holder to a side of the heat dissipation member that faces a lower surface of the substrate member.

    Abstract: The present invention controls against size increase of an optical module drive device. An optical module drive device has: a first swing member configured to hold an optical module; a second swing member connected to the first swing member such that the first swing member is swingable about a first swing axis that intersects the optical axis direction; a fixed member connected to the second swing member such that the second swing member is swingable about a second swing axis that intersects the optical axis direction and is perpendicular to the axial direction of the first swing axis; and a drive part configured to make the first swing member swing relative to the fixed member such that the optical axis tilts. The drive part includes a plurality of shape memory alloy wires provided between movable members including the first swing member and the second swing member, and the fixed member.
