    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide information sending and receiving methods and devices. The information sending method includes: determining, by a base station, a downlink subframe that is used to send first information to user equipment UE; and sending, by the base station, the first information to the UE by using the downlink subframe, where the downlink subframe is a first subframe, a second subframe, or a third subframe, where the first subframe includes at least two sub-physical resource block pairs, the second subframe includes at least two physical resource block pairs, and the third subframe includes at least one sub-physical resource block pair and at least one physical resource block pair. According to the embodiments of the present invention, an LTE communications system efficiently and flexibly supports various network architectures and various types of UEs.

    Abstract: Example control channel resource indication methods, user equipment, and network devices are described. One example method includes sending a preamble signal sequence by a user equipment. The user equipment receives higher layer signaling corresponding to the preamble signal sequence. The higher layer signaling is indicated by downlink control information carried in a common search space. A time-frequency resource detected by the user equipment when determining a control channel includes the common search space and user equipment-dedicated search space. The user equipment determines frequency domain resource location information of the user equipment-dedicated search space based on the higher layer signaling. The frequency domain resource location information includes a quantity of frequency domain resource units occupied by the user equipment-dedicated search space in frequency domain and a location of the frequency domain resource unit.

    Abstract: Example methods and apparatus for sending an uplink control channel and receiving an uplink control channel are described. One example method for sending an uplink control channel includes determining a resource set to be used for an uplink control channel by a terminal device, where the uplink control channel carries uplink control information and a demodulation reference signal (DMRS). The resource set includes N resource subsets, each of the N resource subsets includes a plurality of consecutive symbols in time domain, and N is greater than or equal to 1. The terminal device determines, for each of the N resource subsets, a quantity of symbols used to carry the DMRS, where the quantity of symbols is one of at least two candidate symbol quantities. The terminal device sends the uplink control channel by using the resource set.

    Abstract: The embodiment of the disclosure provides a downlink control information transmission method and apparatus, where the method includes: determining a first resource set based on M resource subsets included in target resources, wherein at least two of the M resource subsets do not overlap in frequency domain, and each resource subset comprises at least one control channel bearing resource unit, M is an integer, and M≥2; the first resource set comprises N control channel bearing resource units, at least two of the N control channel bearing resource units belong to different resource subsets, and at least two of the N control channel bearing resource units are inconsecutive in frequency domain, N≥2, wherein one control channel bearing resource unit includes a plurality of resource element groups (REGs); and receiving downlink control information on the first resource set.
