摘要： Disclosed is a system and a method for efficiently dividing a session into several sessions to forward the classified sessions during the transmission of ESG data in a DVB-H broadcasting service. For this, when there is a large amount of the ESG data, sessions during which an actual ESG data is carried are assigned suitable roles needed to perform a broadcasting service, and are then forwarded. On this, a variation of important information of a channel is specified as a reconfiguration session, which is then able to be transmitted. A terminal receives the reconfiguration session to acquire information to be varied, and previously prepares for the variation of the service. With this, since the terminal can gain access to a required ESG data session optionally as occasion demands, the effectiveness of a data receiving scheme of the terminal is greatly improved and service interruption is minimized.

摘要： In a system and method for providing digital broadcasting program information, a broadcasting information service provider receives EPG data and user-desired broadcasting program information, and extracts the broadcasting information of the digital broadcasting program corresponding to the desired broadcasting program information. The service provider transmits a message including the extracted information to existing subscribers in accordance with each subscriber's information. The subscribers' terminal extracts broadcasting information from the message. Ultimately, a user can easily obtain the information on his/her own desired broadcasting programs, to watch the program or make a setting reservation.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for providing an electronic program guide (EPG) for digital broadcasting. The method includes the steps of analyzing motion picture experts group (MPEG)-2 transport stream for the digital broadcasting by a digital broadcasting receiver of a digital broadcasting subscriber as the digital broadcasting subscriber executes an electronic program guide (EPG) function, obtaining a PID of an elementary stream, which transmits an object carousel, by analyzing a program map table (PMT) of the motion picture experts group (MPEG)-2 transport stream if an application program is transmitted, downloading the application program using the PID information of the elementary stream and then storing the application program in a temporary storage device, displaying electronic program guide information through display of the digital broadcasting subscriber, and executing the application program when contents relating to the application program are selected in electronic program guide information.

摘要： Internet Protocol (IP) addresses are generated based on a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) to manage an Internet Protocol address and an identifier (ID) of a network unit seeking access to a network using the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol to allow the network unit to have easy access to an external server providing a variety of services (e.g., a home network service). A Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol server is adapted to dynamically assign the Internet Protocol address when the network unit seeks access to the network, the network unit being connected to an external Internet network using the Internet Protocol address assigned dynamically from the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol server. A network unit management server is adapted to manage information on the Internet Protocol address assigned by the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol server and the identifier of the network unit corresponding to the Internet Protocol address. A service provider server is adapted to receive a service request of a subscriber to transmit a service processing result of the service request to the corresponding network unit managed by the network unit management server.
