    摘要: A load control device for controlling the amount of power delivered to an electrical load from an AC power source provides improved sensory feedback to a user of the load control device. The load control device comprises a touch screen actuator having a touch sensitive front surface responsive to a plurality of point actuations, each characterized by a position and a force. The touch screen actuator has an output operatively coupled to a controller for providing a control signal representative of the position of the point actuation. The load control device further comprises a visual display and an audible sound generator, both responsive to the controller. The controller is operable to cause the visual display to illuminate and the audible sound generator to generate an audible sound in response to the control signal of the touch screen actuator.

    摘要: A load control device for controlling the amount of power delivered to an electrical load from an AC power source comprises a touch sensitive device having a touch sensitive front surface responsive to a point actuation. The front surface is adapted to be provided in an opening of a faceplate such that the front surface of the touch sensitive actuator extends through the opening at a distance equal to or greater than the depth of the faceplate. According to the present invention, the operational area of the front surface is maximized to substantially the entire area of the front surface. Further, a minimum magnitude of a force of each of the point actuations is substantially equal at each of the respective positions on the front surface of the touch sensitive actuator, such that the front surface provides a substantially uniform force profile.

The new cultivar forms attractive excellent quality late-season large conical to round fruit having a mottled reddish-brown russet surface with prominent tan lenticels and a very sweet mild flavor. The tree is medium-sized and possesses a well-branched upright growth habit. The leaves are medium green in coloration and possess pinnate venation and an acuminate apex. The fruit of the new cultivar has been found to be capable of storage for a longer period of time than most Asian Pear cultivars.

    摘要: A wireless lighting control system comprises a dimmer switch and a remote control. The dimmer switch is coupled in series between an AC power source and a lighting load and comprises a first actuator and a wireless receiver. The dimmer switch is operable to control the amount of power delivered to the lighting load in response to an actuation of the first actuator or a wireless control signal received by the wireless receiver. The remote control comprises a second actuator and a wireless transmitter operable to transmit the wireless control signal is response to an actuation of the second actuator. The remote control is operable to be associated with the dimmer switch in response to simultaneous actuations of the first and second actuators. Accordingly, the dimmer switch subsequently controls the intensity of the lighting load in response to the wireless control signal transmitted by the remote control.

    摘要: An electronic ballast for driving a gas discharge lamp includes a rectifier, a valley-fill circuit, an inverter having first and second series-connected controllably conductive switches having complementary duty cycles, a control circuit for controlling the controllably conductive switches, and an independent cat ear power supply to provide power to the ballast control circuits. The result is a ballast having substantially improved power factor, THD, and current crest factor. In a preferred embodiment, the valley-fill circuit includes an energy storage device that stores energy in response to a controllably conductive switch. In an especially preferred embodiment, the controllably conductive switch of the valley-fill circuit is also one of the switches of the inverter.
