摘要： A duplicate let off prevention device for sheets includes a first exit guide, a second exit guide which is spaced from the first exit guide at a distance that is larger than the thickness of one sheet and is smaller than the thickness of two sheets, and a pre-exit guide which is movably located adjacent a sheet storing device. Stacked sheets are segregated in a wedge-like configuration as they contact the respective guides. A stopper can stop the sheets when the pre-exit guide moves. The pre-exit guide is biased to exert a force to assist in the segregation of the sheets.

摘要： A diverting device for directing discs exiting from a guiding passageway of a disc dispensing mechanism includes a contactor member that is axially movable along an exit opening of the guiding passageway and a diverter member that can be selectively inserted into the exit opening off of the center line of the guiding passageway for varying the direction of the exiting discs. The diverter member can be selectively inserted into the passageway in a direction perpendicular to a plane containing the center line by an activator.

摘要： A card handling and recycling device, including a card receiving unit which can accept a card inserted into the device and optionally withdraw the card out of the device, a magnetic card reading and writing unit, a movable integrated circuit card reading and writing unit, and a card transporting unit for selectively moving the card within the card handling device along a card transporting passageway. The card receiving unit, magnetic card reading and writing unit, integrated circuit card reading and writing unit, and card transporting unit are aligned along the card transporting passageway. Recycling of cards is accomplished by pivoting the integrated circuit card handling unit so that a transported card will be deflected by a guide plate into a recycling storage area.

摘要： An apparatus is set forth for counting and discharging sheet objects such as currency notes or the like. The apparatus has a housing containing a drum. The drum has an outer periphery spaced from the housing to define a chamber to temporarily receive an assembled bundle of objects. A compartment is provided in the drum to serially receive objects as they are counted and the drum rotates to serially discharge the counted objects from the compartment into the chamber to form the bundle. The bundle of a predetermined number of objects is then removed from the housing.

摘要： For sorting input coins by use of their paramagnetic properties, such as a paramagnetic coin, a ferromagnetic coin, and nonmagnetic coin, a device comprises an attracting magnet for attracting the ferromagetic coin by an attracting force of magnetic flux density between 700 and 800 gauss and to allow passage of the paramagnetic coin and the nonmagnetic coin. A guide magets is disposed on the outlet end and guides the paramagentic coin but the nonmaganetic coin to a under side of the outlet end by attractive force of magnetic flux density between 4000 and 5000 gauss.
