Abstract:
An illuminated rod standoff has a base with a recessed surface mountable to a wall, and an axially positioned fastener oriented normal to the recessed surface. The fastener engages a cap which centers a cylindrical sidewall resting on the recessed surface within a close-fitting peripheral edge. The cap closes an open distal end of the sidewall and provides a fastener holding the cap securely to the cylindrical sidewall and the cylindrical sidewall to the base. A towel or tissue rod my be engaged with the cap. A pair of lamps are mounted on the base for transmitting light through the cylindrical sidewall in a highly uniform manner.
Abstract:
An article holder includes a device that is removably securable to a pair of mounting bolts, which secure a handle mounting to a bicycle. The device includes a bracket having a generally planar configuration and having an upper edge, a lower edge, a first side edge and a second side edge. A pair of arms is attached to the first side edge. The arms are spaced from each other and each has a free end having one of a pair of protruding members attached thereto. Each of the protruding members generally extends toward each other. The protruding members are positioned such that each of the mounting bolts may be removably extended through one of the protruding members. A cup support is removably attachable to the bracket.
Abstract:
A toilet paper holder that utilizes two appendages between the two supporting arms in lieu of the rods or bars. The appendages are positioned in the front portions of the supporting arms and face each other creating a void area between them The appendages rotate upward approximately 90 degrees, held in tension by a coil spring, as a roll of toilet paper is placed beneath and between the tip ends of the appendages and moved upward. To remove or replace, the roll of paper is moved upward as the appendages snap back to their horizontal positions.
Abstract:
A toiletry holder includes a support bracket mountable to a support, such as a wall or other fixed structure. A tether is fixed to the support bracket, for example, at a position therealong spaced apart from the support. A fastener is carried on the tether in a position thereof distant from its point of attachment with the support bracket. The fastener is adapted for removable securement of an article of toiletry, for example, soap, toothpaste, etc., such that the toiletry article may be held in tethered securement to the support bracket and maintained in a position in which it can be isolated from contact with surrounding environmental surfaces. Optionally, the tether is resiliently extensible, permitting the article of toiletry to be moved to a distance farther from the support bracket than a position occupied thereby when the article of toiletry simply hangs from the support bracket by the tether.
Abstract:
A corner bucket for storing items within a bathing unit. The caddy includes a substantially L-shaped bucket to fit in a corner and a bracket for hanging the bucket. The bracket includes bracket portions for each of the walls which may be secured using fasteners or suction cups. The bracket includes hooks which are received by corresponding openings in the bucket such that the bucket detachably hangs from the bracket.
Abstract:
A mounting apparatus for attaching fixtures to a wall. The apparatus comprises a bracket comprised of a side wall and a front wall defining a socket with an open end, the bracket is secured to the wall by means of a mounting screw passing through the front wall. A shank portion of a fixture member is disposed in the socket after the bracket has been secured to the wall. The shank portion has an annular groove and is held in place in the socket by means of a set screw passing through the side wall and into the groove.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a concealed snap-on fixture for load bearing bathroom fittings such as soap holders and bathroom shelves. The fixture is a base plate (1) having upper outwardly curved surfaces (6) and lower downwardly directed ridges (7) which respectively engage corresponding parts (13, 14) in the bathroom fitting (2). The corresponding parts are an upper rearwardly directed curved surface (13) and a lower resiliently deformable protrusion (14).
Abstract:
A towel support comprising a wall plate mounted onto a wall surface by anchors and screws, a connector to connect a hanging device to a toothed stem on said wall plate, wherein said connector has an axial hole into which said stem is inserted, a bolt hole vertically in communication with said axial hole, and a screw rod movably fastened in the gap between either two teeth on said stem to firmly secure said connector to said stem and prohibit it from rotary motion.
Abstract:
A support bracket assembly for a glass or marble shelf panel has a laterally oriented throat and a generally U-shaped resilient interface strip fitted over the rear edge of the shelf panel and received within the shelf bracket. The top of the interface strip is biased against the top of the throat to retain the shelf panel in the support bracket.
Abstract:
A container (1) for dispensing viscous liquids consists of a hollow, resilient oval body (2) having a valve cap (6), and a hook-shaped support (7) slidably attached to the body (2). The support (7) may be fully extended and the hook (9) used to suspend the container (1) from a shower rail. Liquid may then be obtained from the container (1) by squeezing the body (2).
