摘要： A burial casket 10 comprising a photographic memorial marker 30 which is coupled to the front and side walls 14 and 16. The photographic memorial marker 30 is provided with a picture 60 for identifying the deceased person in the casket 10. A support member 32 is provided for supporting the picture 60 on the front and back wall members 14 and 16. A first protective cover member 62 is aligned with and coupled to the bottom of the picture 60 on the support member 32. A second protective cover member 64 is aligned with and coupled to the top portion of the picture 60. A sealing member 66 is provided to cover the second protective cover 64 and the support member 32 so that the picture 60 is protected from moisture, and so that a harden durable surface is provided. A plurality of coupling members 70 are provided each having an engaging arm 72 which engages selected portions of the support member 32 and coupling arms 74 which are couplable to the casket walls so that the support member is permanently coupled to the casket 10.

摘要： A method of lining a casket with a liquid impervious liner comprises the steps of providing a casket shell having a pair of side walls, a pair of end walls and a bottom wall, providing a plastic liner having a pair of side walls, a pair of end walls and a bottom wall, inserting the liner into the casket, heating the liner to soften the liner, applying a pressure differential across the softened liner relative to the casket shell to urge the side, end and bottom walls of the softened liner into engagement with the side, end and bottom walls of the casket shell, and permitting the liner to cool. A combination casket and liner is constructed by the method.

摘要： A dish assembly for a burial casket comprises a generally rectangular cap panel having a pair of opposed sides, a puffing member attached to each side of the pair of sides along respective adjacent edges of the puffing member and side, a cap panel insert removably inserted between the puffing members and juxtaposed relative to the cap panel, a tab removably inserted between the respective adjacent edges of each attached puffing member and side, and a first portion of a fastener attached to said tab and a second portion of the fastener attached to the cap panel insert. The first and second portions of the fastener are removably secured one to another such that the cap panel insert is removably secured to the cap panel of the dish assembly. The respective adjacent edges of the puffing members and sides may be secured together with staples. The tab comprises a rectangular portion and two leg portions extending from said rectangular portion. The tab leg portions are removably inserted and retained between the respective adjacent edges of the attached puffing member and side. The space between the tab leg portions accommodates staples therebetween. The fastener may be a hook and loop type fastener.

摘要： A storage container for cremated remains has a container having a plurality of walls for receiving the cremated remains through an opening in the container. A panel insert area is formed in the container for holding a decorative panel therein. The panel insert area has a bottom flange for holding the decorative panel along the bottom edge. A decorative panel having a decorative design thereon is supported in the panel insert area for displaying the decorative design. A removable top is attached over the container opening with a plurality of fasteners and has an elongated lip formed on one side thereof extending over one side of the front panel insert area and over one edge of the decorative panel in the insert area to thereby hold the decorative panel in the insert area along the top edge. A system for storing a plurality of storage containers for cremated remains includes a plurality of horizontal frame members having a plurality of urn support brackets attached thereto with each bracket having a generally cross cross-section shape for supporting each of the urns in a predetermined position. Each urn can have a portion of an image displayed thereon so that a plurality of urn display panels can be attached to the supports to form a complete image.

摘要： A method of fabricating a metal casket by assembling a body containment mold and a lid mold. Each of the molds has inner and outer surfaces. A release mechanism is separately applied to the surfaces of each of the molds. A body containment compartment is formed by depositing a layer of metal on the inner surface of the body containment mold until a desired thickness is achieved. A lid component is formed by depositing a layer of metal on the inner surface of the lid mold until a desired thickness is achieved. Structural polymeric material is then applied to the inner surfaces of the body containment compartment and the lid component. Thereafter, the body containment compartment and the lid component are removed from their respective molds and are hingedly connected to one another.

摘要： An inflatable air mattress positioner is provided for use with a casket, coffin or alternative container. The assembly includes a partially pneumatic pillow with a chamber in which is disposed a plurality of air chambers, each one of which has a corresponding air tube and valve assembly in communication therewith. A cushion material is also included in the pillow. The cushion material coacts with the air bladders to position the head, upper arm, chest and shoulder region of a cadaver so that the cadaver chin is disposed in an acceptable proper height in relation with the chest according to that which is acceptable to the mortician and mourners. In addition, the assembly includes an inflatable air mattress having a plurality of air chambers which are independently inflatable to position a cadaver at an appropriate height and angle in the casket for mourner viewing. Additional separate independent air bladders are also provided to be disposed under the cadaver to aid in positioning the cadaver and tilt the cadaver along its longitudinal axis for mourner viewing as well as positioning the back, arms, head, neck or any other part of the cadaver that requires adjustment.
