    摘要: Electrical malfunctions in a network which are caused by torque fluctuations of an electric motor, in particular flicker, are reduced by using a control device. For simple and cost-effective minimizing or even correction of such malfunctions with the control device, the control device has at least one first input for supplying an input signal which contains information suitable for determining the loading of the network by torque fluctuations and at least one output for transmitting an output signal to at least one converter supplying the electric motor. This makes it possible to reduce or ideally to eliminate electrical malfunctions in a network which are caused by torque fluctuation of the electric motor.

    摘要: A variable speed drive system employing an electric motor and a frequency converter arranged between an AC power source and the electric motor is operated. The frequency converter functions to convert AC power obtained from the AC power source at a source frequency to converted power at a variable drive frequency. A mechanical assembly can be coupled to the electric motor. Electric modulation circuitry is provided interacting with the frequency converter. It is arranged to impose fluctuations, independently from any torsional excitation in the mechanical assembly and the AC power source, in the inter-harmonic frequencies of inter-harmonic currents generated in the frequency converter.

    摘要: The present invention provides a medium voltage variable frequency driving system, including a three-phase switch-mode rectification module, a multilevel inverter and a high-capacity capacitor module. The three-phase switch-mode rectification module is coupled with a three-phase electrical grid, for converting an AC voltage input with a fixed operating frequency on the three-phase electrical grid into a DC voltage. The multilevel inverter is used for converting the DC voltage into an AC voltage with a required variable frequency, so as to drive an induction motor. The high-capacity capacitor module is coupled between the three-phase switch-mode rectification module and the multilevel inverter, for temporarily storing the DC voltage. In the present invention, a three-phase switch-mode rectification technology is used at the front-end rectifier, and a diode-clamped three-level inverter is adapted correspondingly at the rear-end inverter.

    摘要: In various embodiments, the present disclosure provides a speed control system for a motor that includes a fixed speed control portion and a variable speed control portion. The fixed speed control portion is operable to control a speed of a motor in a fixed speed mode wherein the motor is operated at a preselected fixed speed below a predetermined fixed speed mode threshold speed. The variable speed control portion is operable to control the motor in a variable speed mode wherein the motor is operated such that a speed of the motor can be selectively varied within a range between the fixed speed mode threshold speed and a maximum motor speed. The system additionally includes a switching device structured and operable to selectively switch the speed control system between the fixed speed mode and the variable speed mode.

    摘要: While a PWM-controlled, FET-switched three-phase motor is operating in a mechanical damping mode, a single current sensor is used to measure current in the motor. When mechanical feedback into the motor exceeds a predetermined threshold, a bank of the FET switches can be closed to provide damping of the mechanical feedback. This causes currents to circulate within the motor, which an external single current sensor cannot measure to determine current load or when the mechanical feedback is no longer a problem. The present invention periodically switches selected switches necessary to sample the current in at least one phase of the motor to determine when the mechanical feedback into the motor is no longer a problem, while preferably also maintaining an average zero voltage vector.

A first voltage and a second voltage lower than the first voltage are applied to the power conversion device, and the power conversion device outputs an n-phase output voltage based on a modulation factor. n is the number of phases of the AC output, and is an odd number of 3 or more. At a low modulation factor equal to or less than a first modulation factor, the output voltage becomes a sinusoidal output. At the second modulation factor larger than the first modulation factor, the output voltage is switched every electrical angle π/n between the phase in which the output voltage is fixed to the maximum voltage and the phase in which the output voltage is fixed to the minimum voltage.
