    Abstract: An automatic document feeder includes a horizontal feeding path, a curve feeding path, a scanning unit arranged in the horizontal feeding path, a motor, a movable document guider, an actuator, a feeding roller arranged in the horizontal feeding path, and a transmission structure. One end of the curve feeding path is connected with a common document inlet, the other end of the curve feeding path is connected with a middle of the horizontal feeding path. A gentle bending corner is formed at a junction area between the curve feeding path and the horizontal feeding path. The motor outputs a forward torque or a converse torque. The movable document guider is rotatably positioned near the gentle bending corner. The actuator is rotatably positioned near the gentle bending corner. The transmission structure is connected among the motor, the feeding roller and the actuator.

    Abstract: A foldable baffle structure is mounted to a tray of a scanner or a printer. The foldable baffle structure includes two limiting components mounted to the tray. Each limiting component includes a sliding element, a stopping element, a guiding element and a pivoting element. Middles of the two sliding elements of the two limiting components have two accommodating spaces penetrating through top surfaces and bottom surfaces of the two sliding elements. The two stopping elements of the two limiting components are mounted in the accommodating spaces of the two limiting components. A middle of one end surface of the stopping element protrudes outward to form a pivoting portion. The guiding element is mounted around an outside of the pivoting portion. The pivoting element is pivotally disposed in the stopping element.

    Abstract: A feeding roller structure includes a fastening frame, a transmission component, a transmission roller and a floating coupler. The transmission component is assembled in the fastening frame. The transmission component includes a drive shaft mounted on two sides of the fastening frame. The transmission roller is concentrically arranged around the drive shaft. The floating coupler is mounted to the fastening frame. The floating coupler is coupled between the drive shaft and the transmission roller. Two opposite ends of the floating coupler are adjacent to and spaced from the two sides of the fastening frame to form two gaps. Each gap is formed between one end of the floating coupler and one side of the fastening frame. The two gaps limit an angular displacement of the floating coupler.

    Abstract: A foldable baffle structure is mounted to a tray of a scanner or a printer. The foldable baffle structure includes two limiting components mounted to the tray. Each limiting component includes a sliding element, a stopping element, a guiding element and a pivoting element.     Abstract: A bi-directional paper pickup mechanism includes a pickup roller, a fastening structure, an input shaft, a first ratchet element, a second ratchet element, an actuating unit, a first transmission rotor and a second transmission rotor. The pickup roller has an inner space. The fastening structure is disposed in the inner space. The input shaft is accommodated in the inner space, and one end of the input shaft is pivotally connected to the fastening structure. The first ratchet element is mounted around the input shaft.     Abstract: A portable scanner includes a housing, a transmitting path, a scanning unit and a transmission module. The transmitting path longitudinally penetrates through two opposite sides of the housing. One side of the transmitting path forms a first channel, and the other side of the transmitting path forms a second channel. The scanning unit is arranged in the transmitting path and partially projects into the first channel. The transmission module is arranged in the transmitting path and partially projects into the first channel. The transmission module is in contact with the scanning unit.     Abstract: A paper pickup mechanism includes a mechanical frame, a pickup roller module, a feeding roller module, a driving device, a separation roller module and an energy storage element. The mechanical frame has a platform. The pickup roller module is pivoted to and connected to the mechanical frame. The feeding roller module is pivoted to and connected to the mechanical frame. The driving device is mounted to the mechanical frame. The separation roller module is pivoted to and connected to the mechanical frame. The energy storage element is mounted between the mechanical frame and the separation roller module. When the separation roller module rotates together with the feeding roller module in a forward direction, the energy storage element accumulates energies. When more than one piece of paper is fed into the paper pickup mechanism, the energy storage element releases the energies.

    Abstract: A scanning device includes an outer shell, a glass platform, a contact image sensor, a paper feeding unit and an upper cover. An inside of the outer shell has an accommodating space. The glass platform is disposed to the outer shell. The glass platform includes an automatic paper fed and scanned area, and a static paper scan area. The contact image sensor is disposed in the accommodating space. The paper feeding unit is disposed to a top surface of the automatic paper fed and scanned area. The upper cover is pivotally disposed to a top surface of the static paper scan area. A top surface of the upper cover is recessed downward to form a paper loading groove.
