Abstract: The present invention is related to a scanning device for scanning documents, comprises a flat-bed scanning glass; a contact image sensor arranged above the flat-bed scanning glass separately to form a scanning path therebetween, a bottom surface of the contact image sensor being arranged with a protecting glass, a middle area of the protecting glass being configured as a scanning area, and a chamfer being arranged at the bottom surface of the protecting glass at a downstream position relative to the scanning area. Hence the dust of documents in this invention would be stacked in the chamfer during the scanning process temporarily and then be wiped away by the document itself, so as to assure the dust would not be stacked in the scanning area. The scanning device in this invention is capable to maintain the scanning quality without clearing the dust even after scanned a massive quantity of documents.

Abstract: A scanning device includes at least one motor, an input tray, a pickup roller, a separation roller module, an ultrasonic sensor, a scanning module, a path switcher and a controller. The pickup roller is connected with the at least one motor. The separation roller module is connected with the at least one motor. The ultrasonic sensor includes an ultrasonic emitter and an ultrasonic receiver. The ultrasonic sensor is used for sensing that a single paper or multiple papers are fed in. The scanning module is used for scanning a plurality of papers. The path switcher is connected with the at least one motor. The at least one motor is capable of driving the path switcher to be switched to a first position and a second position. The controller is connected with the at least one motor and the ultrasonic sensor.

Abstract: A transmission device of automatic document feeder includes a transmission gear assembly, a pickup transmission gear assembly, a paper-feed transmission gear assembly, a correction transmission gear assembly, a pressure transmission gear assembly and a turn-over transmission gear assembly. The transmission gear assembly includes a transmission roller, a first drive gear and a second drive gear. The pickup transmission gear assembly includes a pickup drive gear, a pickup swing arm and a pickup auxiliary swing arm. The paper-feed transmission gear assembly driven by the transmission gear assembly includes a paper-feed reverse gear and a paper-feed swing arm. And the correction transmission gear assembly and the paper-feed transmission gear assembly rotate towards the same direction. The pressure transmission gear assembly includes a pressure swing arm and a pressure actuating gear. The turn-over transmission gear assembly is driven by the first drive gear of the transmission gear assembly.

Abstract: A belt transmission mechanism includes a driving pulley, a following pulley mounted on a shaft, a timing belt looping around the driving pulley and the corresponding following pulley, and a belt limiter. When the driving pulley rotates, the timing belt has a tight side and a slack side. The belt limiter has a mounting portion rotatably mounted on the shaft and located behind the following pulley.
