    Abstract: Drop-in and under-deck firestop devices including a sleeve structure having an inner surface and an opposite outer surface. The firestop device includes a first smoke-seal ring positioned on the inner surface of the sleeve structure, a first intumescent ring positioned below the first smoke-seal ring on the inner surface of the sleeve structure, a second smoke-seal ring positioned on the outer surface of the sleeve structure; and a second intumescent ring positioned below the second smoke-seal ring on the outer surface of the sleeve structure. The first and second smoke-seal rings and the first and second intumescent rings are respectively adhered or otherwise secured to the inner and outer surfaces of the sleeve structure.

    Abstract: The present application relates to connectors with an indicator feature for providing visibility within a connector body. The connectors include a connector body made of either a transparent or opaque material to provide visibility inside the connector body. The connector body defines a zone of indication that provides visual indication of two positions of the conduit. A first position of the conduit includes a position wherein the conduit is inserted beyond a seal portion of the connector but not fully inserted to a predetermined depth. And, a second position of the conduit includes a position wherein the conduit is sealed and fully inserted within the connector body to the predetermined depth (e.g., the predetermined depth includes a depth where an end of the conduit engages a conduit stop of the connector body).

    Abstract: A connector includes a connecting body with a fluid passage at least part way therethrough, and a seal is provided with an outer portion of a fluid tube. A cartridge proximate to the connecting body has a hollow portion therethrough. A grab part has at least one tooth to retain the fluid tube and is between the cartridge and the seal. A demount part within the hollow portion moves the teeth to allow release of the fluid tube. A latch is located on one of the connecting body or a sleeve covering at least part of the cartridge or the connecting body. A mating catch is located on the other of the sleeve or the connecting body, and engagement of the latch with the catch connects the sleeve to the connecting body and helps restrain cartridge movement.

    Abstract: An excess flow valve (EFV) is disclosed that has an efficient and durable construction. The EFV is efficient in terms of both size and cost. It is durable partly due to a design with few parts and also because of optional all metal construction.     Abstract: A pipe connector having a body with a tubular part to seal with a pipe. The tubular part has an outer face with a projecting feature to seal with the pipe. A collet is fixed to the body and spaced from the tubular part to form a cavity for the pipe. A locking cap is captive on and screwed onto collet to deflect the collet onto the pipe and the pipe onto the tubular part to seal between the body and the pipe. The collet has through slots at its distal end allowing the pipe to be visible when the connector is locked and unlocked. The inner diameter at an open end of the collet is optionally greater than the inner diameter of the distal part that receives the pipe. A method of forming the connector is also disclosed.

A drop-in fire stop assembly has a clam-shell configuration having first and second portions of a fire ring, split cage, split retainer ring, split intumescent ring, split inner smoke ring and split outer smoke ring each fastened together to rotate about a hinge on the split cage to open and close. The first and second portions have free ends that spread apart to fit around the tube in an open position, and close around the tube in a closed position. A latch on the free ends of the cage hold the two portions together in the closed position.
