Abstract: A cap for a tubular sleeve having a cylindrical wall extending along a longitudinal axis for forming a passage through a concrete structure. The sleeve has radially extending ridges separated into segments with a channel parallel to the longitudinal axis. The channel has a circumferential width W. The ridges spaced apart a distance Z along the longitudinal axis. The sleeve having an inner diameter D. The cap has a cap element and a positioning tab. The cap element has a circular outer periphery with a flat top surface and a flange having a bottom end, and the tab extends inwardly from the bottom end and has a bottom surface that is orthogonal to the longitudinal axis. The tab has an inner surface that is inclined at an acute angle to the bottom surface. The tab has a width smaller than W and an axial length smaller than Z.

Abstract: An outlet box assembly includes a base and a connection assembly. The base defines a base through-hole. Abstract: A bracket holds a rigid or flexible tube during the pouring of a concrete slab. The bracket has a base and a housing connected to the base. The tube curves around a first tube support on the housing before passing through an opening in the bottom of the housing. The tube and any members inside the tube are cut off so they end inside the housing and are then covered by a housing cap. The base is fastened to a form for the concrete slab. The height of the housing relative to the base is adjusted to place the cap at the planned surface of the concrete slab. After the concrete slab is formed the cap is removed and the cut members inside the housing are connected to other members or devices.

Abstract: A concrete structure with a corrugated bottom surface has a pipe passing through a passage in the structure. A fire stop assembly has a first portion with a split plate, split cage, split intumescent ring, split inner smoke ring and split outer smoke ring each fastened together to rotate together about a hinge on the split cage. The fire stop assembly has a second portion of the split plate, split cage, split intumescent ring, split inner smoke ring and split outer smoke ring fastened together to rotate together about a hinge. The first and second portions have free ends that spread apart to fit around the tube in an open position, and close around the tube in a closed position.

A drop-in fire stop assembly has a clam-shell configuration having first and second portions of a fire ring, split cage, split retainer ring, split intumescent ring, split inner smoke ring and split outer smoke ring each fastened together to rotate about a hinge on the split cage to open and close. The first and second portions have free ends that spread apart to fit around the tube in an open position, and close around the tube in a closed position. A latch on the free ends of the cage hold the two portions together in the closed position.
