    Abstract: Embodiments for generating appropriate data sets for learning to identify user actions. A user uses one or more applications over a suitable period of time. As the user uses the applications, a monitoring device, acting as a “man-in-the-middle,” intermediates the exchange of encrypted communication between the applications and the servers that serve the applications. The monitoring device obtains, for each action performed by the user, two corresponding (bidirectional) flows of communication: an encrypted flow, and an unencrypted flow. Since the unencrypted flow indicates the type of action that was performed by the user, the correspondence between the encrypted flow and the unencrypted flow may be used to automatically label the encrypted flow, without decrypting the encrypted flow. Features of the encrypted communication may then be stored in association with the label to automatically generate appropriately-sized learning set for each application of interest.

    Abstract: Systems and methods of diarization using linguistic labeling include receiving a set of diarized textual transcripts. A least one heuristic is automatedly applied to the diarized textual transcripts to select transcripts likely to be associated with an identified group of speakers. The selected transcripts are analyzed to create at least one linguistic model. The linguistic model is applied to transcripted audio data to label a portion of the transcripted audio data as having been spoken by the identified group of speakers. Still further embodiments of diarization using linguistic labeling may serve to label agent speech and customer speech in a recorded and transcripted customer service interaction.

    Abstract: Systems and methods to track the respective locations of subjects over time. The system identifies subjects who, over time, were co-located with one another suggesting they are associated with one another, and the pairs are analyzed. For each of the subjects, the system produces a vector that quantifies the subject's location history by including a respective weight for each combination of a time interval with a geographical area. The vectors are compared using a distance metric, and any pair of subjects whose vectors are sufficiently close are flagged as being an associated pair. The respective vector belonging to each subject is normalized to account for the total number of other subjects who were co-located with the subject. For each interval-area pair, the system may compute the frequency of the interval-area pair, and then divide each weight that corresponds to the interval-area pair by the frequency of the interval-area pair.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for obtaining authentication vectors issued, for use by a mobile communication terminal, by a Home Location Register (HLR) that serves a cellular communication network independently of any cooperation with the cellular network. Further to obtaining the authentication vectors, a terminal is caused to communicate over a WiFi WLAN using an encryption key derived from the obtained authentication vectors, e.g., per the EAP-SIM or EAP-AKA protocol. Since the encryption key is known, communication from the terminal is decrypted. The authentication vectors may be obtained by (i) an “impersonating” Visitor Location Register (VLR) server that does not serve the cellular network; (ii) an interrogation device which, by imitating a legitimate base station serving the cellular network, solicits the mobile communication terminal to associate with the interrogation device; or (iii) an SS7 probe, which obtains authentication vectors communicated from the HLR server to other entities on the SS7 network.

    Abstract: A plurality of pairs of video cameras and interrogation devices may be placed in a public place along various paths that a person-of-interest might be expected to move. The person-of-interest is then located in multiple images acquired, collectively, by multiple video cameras. From each of the interrogation devices that are paired with these video cameras, a subset of the captured identifiers is obtained. Candidate identifiers are then restricted to those identifiers that are included in each of the subsets. A given identifier may be rejected as a candidate identifier. To automatically locate the person-of-interest in the images acquired by the “paired” video cameras, a processor may utilize video-tracking techniques to automatically track the person-of-interest, such that the person-of-interest is not “lost.” By virtue of utilizing such tracking techniques, the person-of-interest may be repeatedly located automatically, and with minimal chance of a false detection.

    Abstract: A subject can be tracking using a plurality of physical video monitoring or image acquisition devices deployed in a delimited area. A map represents the delimited area. Icons representing the physical monitoring devices can be placed and configured on the map representing the delimited area. Some or all of the placed and configured video monitoring devices can be logically linked together to form scenes. The video feed from the physical video monitoring devices may be recorded in stable storage. A layout for display of the video feeds may be selected. Upon playing the video feed, whether live or recorded, a subject can be tracked through the delimited area by selecting one of the video monitoring devices in one of the available scenes.

    Abstract: A video system for video surveillance or video monitoring includes a video source, a video control system, and a video management system. The video management system is configured to receive configuration data and generate maps based on the configuration data, wherein at least one of the maps is associated with the video source. The video management system displays the map associated with the video source and displays a graphical symbol on the map which indicates the location of the video source. The video management system then receives a selection of the video source, receives information associated with the selected video source, and displays the received information.
