    Abstract: An electronic smoking article, a method of manufacturing an electronic smoking article, and a method of achieving a smoking experience without combusting tobacco are disclosed. The electronic smoking article includes an authenticated first section, which includes an aerosol generation unit having at least one heater; an authenticated second section, which includes a power supply operable to apply voltage to the at least one heater for heating a liquid in at least a portion of the aerosol generation unit to form an aerosol; and a conductive ink circuit embedded within the first and second sections, and wherein the power supply and the aerosol generation unit are electrically connected upon joining the first and second sections, and wherein each of the first and second sections has a portion of the conductive ink circuit.

    Abstract: A nicotine e-vaping device may include a nicotine pod assembly and a device body defining a through hole configured to receive the nicotine pod assembly. The nicotine pod assembly is configured to hold a nicotine pre-vapor formulation. The through hole of the device body includes at least sidewall that is configured to deflect during an insertion of the nicotine pod assembly. One or more sidewalls of the through hole may include at least one protrusion configured to engage with corresponding recesses of the nicotine pod assembly so as to retain the nicotine pod assembly within the through hole of the device body.

    Abstract: A method of controlling a heater of a device including a removable container that stores a material includes detecting, from the removable container, power information indicating a first operating point and a second operating point; and supplying power to the heater based on the detected power information by, determining a first amount of power based on the first operating point, supplying the first amount of power to the heater during a first operation mode of the heater, determining a second amount of power based on the second operating point, and supplying the second amount of power to the heater during a second operation mode of the heater, the second amount of power being higher than the first amount of power, the device being a non-nicotine e-vaping device or a heat-not-burn aerosol-generating device, the material being a non-nicotine pre-vapor formulation or an aerosol-forming substrate.

    Abstract: In some example embodiments, a reservoir assembly may include a reservoir and an isolation structure. The reservoir may hold a pre-vapor formulation. The reservoir may include a first fluid port extending through a housing of the reservoir, where the first fluid port may enable fluid communication between the reservoir and an exterior of the reservoir assembly. The reservoir may be coupled to a vaporizer assembly that includes a second fluid port configured to enable fluid communication between the reservoir and vaporizer assembly, or the reservoir may be coupled to a vaporizer connector assembly that includes a second fluid port configured to enable fluid communication between the reservoir and an exterior through the vaporizer connector assembly. The isolation structure may move in relation to the reservoir and the vaporizer connector assembly to a position where it exposes one of the fluid ports and covers the other.

    Abstract: An e-vaping case includes a housing, a guide structure, a cartridge receiving portion connected to the guide structure, and an electronics system in the housing. The cartridge receiving portion is configured to be moved along the guide structure between a first surface and a second surface of the housing. The electronics system includes a power supply that is configured to initiate a transfer of power to an electrical contact structure if the cartridge receiving portion is moved towards the first surface of the housing to at least a first position of the housing. The electronics system is configured to interrupt the transfer of power to the electrical contact structure if the cartridge receiving portion is moved towards the second surface of the housing. An electronic vaping device may include a cartridge detachably coupled to the cartridge receiving portion.
