Abstract: A signal strength measurement method is disclosed, the method including: receiving first indication information, where the first indication information includes first sub-information, second sub-information, and third sub-information, the first sub-information indicates a measurement period for measurement, the third sub-information is used to indicate an offset of a start position of a second time unit for measurement relative to a start position of the measurement period, and the second sub-information is used to indicate an offset of a start position of a first time unit for measurement in the measurement period relative to the start position of the second time unit for measurement; determining a measurement resource based on the first indication information; performing signal strength measurement on a signal on the measurement resource; and sending a measurement result.

Abstract: A method for scheduling transmission in a wireless communications system, and a device are disclosed, to resolve a technical problem that uplink transmission in a cell in which the uplink transmission is performed may be interfered with by downlink transmission. The method includes: determining, by a network device, a priority of each transmission time interval used for first-direction transmission in a transmission time interval set, where the first-direction transmission is along a downlink direction from the network device to user equipment or along an uplink direction from the user equipment to the network device; selecting, by the network device, for a first cell, at least one transmission time interval from the transmission time interval set based on the priority; and performing, by the network device, in the first cell, the first-direction transmission with the user equipment by using the selected at least one transmission time interval.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a message processing method and apparatus. The method includes: determining a transmission type of information to be sent to a terminal device and a transmission parameter corresponding to the transmission type; and sending, to the terminal device, a notification message carrying an indication field, where the indication field is used to indicate the transmission type and the transmission parameter, so that the terminal device receives data based on the transmission type and the transmission parameter; and at least one state of the indication field indicates that the transmission type is a first multiuser superposition transmission type, or at least one state of the indication field indicates that the transmission type is a third multiuser superposition transmission type. Based on the message processing method and apparatus provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure, transmission efficiency of a system can be increased.

The method includes: generating, by a base station, notification signaling, where the notification signaling includes indication information, the indication information is used to instruct user equipment UE to select a shift sequence number from a range of 0 to (nshiftRAngroupRA+nshiftRA+nshiftRA+shiftRA−1), the shift sequence number is an integer, nshiftRA is a quantity of UE candidate sequence shifts in a group, ngroupRA is a quantity of groups, nshiftRA is a quantity of UE candidate sequence shifts in the last length that is insufficient for a group, nshiftRA is a quantity of UE candidate sequence shifts in first remaining sequence shifts, and shiftRA is a quantity of UE candidate sequence shifts in second remaining sequence shifts; and sending, by the base station, the notification signaling to the UE, so that the UE generates a random access sequence according to the indication information.
