    Abstract: According to the disclosure of the present document, an image decoding method performed by a decoding device comprises the steps of: acquiring, through a bitstream, image information including prediction mode information and residual information; deriving a prediction mode of a current block on the basis of the prediction mode information; deriving prediction samples on the basis of the prediction mode; deriving residual samples on the basis of the residual information; generating reconstruction samples on the basis of the prediction samples and the residual samples; deriving filter coefficients for an adaptive loop filter (ALF) procedure for the reconstruction samples; and generating modified reconstruction samples on the basis of the reconstruction samples and the filter coefficients, wherein the image information includes a first adaptation parameter set (APS) including an ALF data field, and the ALF data field includes ALF parameters used to derive the filter coefficients.

    Abstract: According to embodiment(s) disclosed in the present document, forward reshaping can be performed for inter prediction luma blocks averaged in a domain reshaped for luma mapping, and inverse reshaping is performed for intra prediction luma blocks averaged in an original domain or an average luma value of the intra prediction luma blocks inversely mapped in the original domain can be derived. In addition, a chroma residual scaling index can be derived on the basis of a simple bit shifting operation so that the method according to the present document can perform reshaping only for an average luma value (that is, one value) and can reduce the number of operations required for the reshaping.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a method by which a decoding device decodes an image is provided. The method comprises the steps of: acquiring image information from a bit-stream; determining whether at least one from among a template-based inter mode derivation (TIMD) mode and decoder-side intra mode derivation (DIMD) mode is applied to the current block; generating a prediction sample of the current block on the basis of the at least one from among the TIMD mode and DIMD mode; and generating a reconstructed sample of the current block on the basis of the prediction sample of the current block, wherein the TIMD mode is derived from a template of the current block and the DIMD mode is derived on the basis of the gradient of adjacent reference samples of the current block.
