    Abstract: Video processing methods comprise receiving input data of a current block in a current picture having a plurality of Virtual Pipeline Data Units (VPDUs), wherein each VDPU is a fixed size, performing a decoding process to decode Coding Units (CUs) in the current VPDU and generate decoded samples of the current VPDU, wherein each CU coded in a Current Picture Referencing (CPR) mode is decoded by fetching decoded samples in a reference block stored in a CPR referring buffer, and updating the CPR referring buffer by storing the decoded samples of the current VPDU when finishing the decoding process of the current VPDU, wherein the CPR referring buffer is updated one VPDU by one VPDU.

    Abstract: Exemplary video processing methods and apparatuses for encoding or decoding a current block by bi-directional prediction are disclosed. L0 and L1 reference blocks are determined for the current block, and a motion vector refinement is applied to refine the L0 and L1 reference blocks using a motion estimation search performed on each processing unit in the current block. A bi-directional optical flow operation is early terminated according to a cost of each processing unit in the current block. The processing units for cost calculation in the motion vector refinement and the bi-directional optical flow early termination are unified. The bi-directional optical flow operation is applied to the current block to further refine the L0 and L1 reference blocks if the bi-directional optical flow operation is not early terminated. A final inter predictor is derived from the refined L0 and L1 reference blocks for encoding or decoding the current block.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus of video processing for a video coding system using Neural Network (NN) are disclosed. According to this method, a shifted region is determined for the filter region to avoid unavailable reconstructed or filtered-reconstructed video data for the NN processing of the filter region, where boundaries of the shifted region comprises region boundaries derived by shifting target boundaries upward, leftward, or both upward and leftward, and wherein the target boundaries correspond to one or more top boundaries and one or more left boundaries of target processing region including the current block and one or more remaining un-processed blocks. According to another method, the areas outside boundaries of pictures, slices, tiles, or tile groups are padded. In yet another method, a flag is used to indicate whether the NN processing is allowed to cross a boundary between two slices, two tiles or two tile groups.

    Abstract: A prediction method and apparatus for video coding include a set of Merge candidates having an MMVD (Merge mode with motion vector differences (MVD)) candidate are generated.     Abstract: Methods and apparatus for in-loop processing of reconstructed video are disclosed. According to one method, a virtual boundary is determined for to-be-processed pixels in the current picture, where the virtual boundary is aligned with block boundaries and at least one to-be-processed pixel on a first side of the virtual boundary requires one or more second pixels on a second side of the virtual boundary. According to the method, the in-loop processing is modified if a target to-be-processed pixel requires at least one second pixel from the second side of the virtual boundary and the modified in-loop processing eliminates the need for any second pixel on the second side of the virtual boundary.     Abstract: A method and apparatus Inter prediction for video coding including IBC (Intra Block Copy) coding tool are disclosed. According to one method, a current permitted band inside the current picture for the current block is identified. A target IBC candidate is selected, where a target block vector of the target IBC candidate points from the current block to a target reference block in the current picture. An adjusted candidate list is generated by taking into account of the target IBC candidate and the current permitted band. In another method, a syntax for a target MVD (Motion Vector Difference) is decoded without sign information or with reduced sign information of the target MVD.
