Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A UE may communicate with a set of transceiver nodes (e.g., transmission reception points (TRPs)) in a first transceiver node operation mode (e.g., a multi-TRP mode). A first transceiver node of the set of transceiver nodes may receive, from a second of the set of transceiver nodes, an indication to switch between rate matching states. The first transceiver node may switch from a first rate matching state to a second rate matching state and may transmit a downlink shared channel based on a resource configuration associated with the second rate matching state. The UE may receive the shared channel based on an antenna port configuration determined by the UE based on the first transceiver node operation and rate matching information. The rate matching information may be provided by the first transceiver node.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A segment based feedback codebook may lead to more efficient and responsive codebook generation for hybrid automatic-repeat/request (HARQ) acknowledgment reporting. A segment-based feedback codebook may support codebook generation where each bit in an acknowledgment/negative-acknowledgment (ACK/NACK) codebook may correspond to a segment of resources. A network entity may schedule a user equipment with one or more messages within one or more segments. The UE may generate one ACK/NACK bit for each segment, and a HARQ codebook transmitted in a physical uplink control channel reporting occasion may include the ACK/NACK bits corresponding to the messages in those segments. A segment may be a set of time domain resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink control information (DCI) message indicating a time slot for the UE to transmit feedback according to a codebook size. The UE may monitor a quantity of physical downlink control channel monitoring occasions (PMOs) within a subset of time slots before the time slot. The PMOs may include a first set of one or more PMOs associated with a first codebook generation characteristic and a second set of one or more PMOs associated with a second codebook generation characteristic. The UE may transmit the feedback via the time slot according to a first codebook size based on the monitoring. The first codebook size may be based on a quantity of PMOs included in the first set of PMOs associated with the first codebook generation characteristic.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of dynamic resource block (RB) bundling for downlink transmissions, the dynamic RB bundling associated with a first precoding bundle size set and a second precoding bundle size set. The UE may receive a grant scheduling a downlink transmission associated with a subband full duplex slot, the grant comprising a bundling size indication identifying either the first precoding bundle size set or the second precoding bundle size set. The UE may receive the downlink transmission associated with the subband full duplex slot according to the grant, the downlink transmission received via contiguous frequency resources associated with RB bundling and identified based at least in part on an RB size identified by the bundling size indication, wherein the RB size comprises a narrowband bundle size value, a wideband bundle size value, or a combination thereof.
