Abstract: When a base film used in a flexible display panel is bonded to a resin member for fixing the base film that is curved, the base film has creases by an environmental change such as temperature due to difference in linear expansion coefficient before and after a thermal shock. A buffer plate that is thin enough to be bent is provided between the base film used in a flexible display panel and the resin member. With the use of heat dissipation effect and heat equalization effect of the buffer plate, a structure around the panel capable of resisting the environmental change can be provided.

Abstract: A plurality of display panels having a curved surface are placed in a limited space. Two, or three or more display panels are combined to form one display region having a T-shaped outer edge as one screen, and a driver can curve part of the display panel as appropriate so that the driver can see the screen easily. A first display panel or a second display panel has flexibility and includes a position adjustment function of curving an end portion. That is, by curving part of the display panel, the user can see the display panel easily. The in-car design can also be varied.

Abstract: A display device including a wide display region in which a seam is less likely to be noticed is provided. The display device includes two display panels that overlap with each other. An upper display panel includes a first display region and a region that transmits visible light. A lower display panel includes a second display region and a region that blocks visible light. The second display region overlaps with, on a display surface side, the region that transmits visible light. The region that blocks visible light overlaps with the first display region. At least part of an insulating layer included in the upper display panel is provided in the first display region and not provided in the region that transmits visible light.
