Abstract: A two-wheeled riding sulky for powered ground-maintenance machines includes, in addition to a primary hitch connection which operates in tension between the powered ground-maintenance machine and the sulky, a buck-bar which operates in compression between these two devices. The buck-bar is used to prevent the powered ground-maintenance machine from bucking. In a preferred embodiment, the powered ground-maintenance machine is a snow blower having only two ground-engaging, load-bearing traction wheels.

Abstract: A hitch assembly adapted to secure a trailer and tractor vehicle includes an elongated housing, a threaded shaft in the housing, a coupling member on the shaft, a carriage member secured to the coupling member, a rotatable drive that turns the shaft to advance the coupling member and carriage member, a first member secured to the housing for connection to one of the vehicles and a second member secured to the carriage for connection to the other vehicle. Abstract: For use with a towing vehicle having a hitching device (38) on a rearwardly extending bar support (32). A medial panel (20) and a base (14) are joined by a pivoting device (15) allowing the medial panel (20) movement from a horizontal position to a vertical position. The bumper guard position affords some protection to the rear of the vehicle if accidental contact is made during the vehicle and trailer coupling process.
