摘要： A spring biased pivot assembly for operative connection across a lower edge of a self-returning door structure. An adjustable spacer projects outwardly from a downwardly extending shoulder structure and towards a tension pin in tangential relation to the axis of rotation. The spacer contacts the tension pin when the door structure is in its normal position thereby maintaining separation between the tension pin and the shoulder structure and blocking complete release of spring tension.

摘要： A hinge assembly includes a shaft (10), a follower (12), a cam (20), at least one rolling member (40), and a spring (50). The follower is connected with the shaft. One of the shaft and the follower has a securing portion (11). The cam is essentially in the shape of a cylinder. The cam has a cam surface (24) and has a cam hole (22) extending therethrough. The cam hole receives the shaft there through. Each rolling member is disposed between the follower and the cam. The first end of the urging means abuts the shaft, while an opposite second end of the urging means biases the cam. The cam surface of the cam is rotatably and movably engaged with each rolling member under the force of the spring.

摘要： A swing hinge device of a portable terminal has a pair of housings, which are coupled to each other in such a manner that they can be rotated while facing each other. Using a resilient means and a pair of cams, the swing hinge device provides a rotational force so that one of the housings can be rotated semi-automatically to a position for allowing speech communication. The device also uses a hinge stopper, stopper washer, and the like to limit the range of rotation of the housings to 360° or less in any direction. This avoids any damage to a flexible printed circuit board and the like, which is positioned between the pair of housings.

A door mounting lever pivots relative to the channel about a pivot axis on an arc between a first operative position where the door mounting lever is moved a maximum extent in a first direction about said pivot axis on the arc and second operative position where the door mounting lever is moved a maximum extent in a second direction opposite the first direction about the pivot axis on the arc. A glide is operatively coupled to the door mounting lever, e.g., by way of a spring cam member, and is movable slidably on the stop in response to movement of the door mounting lever. A spring biases the glide into continuous engagement with the stop when the door mounting lever is located in both the first and second operative positions and when the door mounting lever moves between the first and second operative positions.

摘要： An adjustable gate hinge assembly is fabricated from stamped components and includes a base plate mountable to a gate or door, an inner hinge component slidably adjustable and securable to the base plate with threaded fasteners, an outer hinge component mountable to a fence or wall, first and second pivot plugs which locate the inner hinge component within the outer hinge component, and a rivet which passes through the slot of each pivot plug, thereby retaining them seated within the outer hinge component. The inner hinge component has a tubular member which pivots between a pair of opposed drawn ears on the outer hinge component. Each of the ears has an aperture that is axially aligned with the aperture of the other ear. For a preferred embodiment of the invention, the hinge assembly incorporates a coil spring within the tubular member, which can be loaded to bias the hinge as self-closing or self-opening.
