    Abstract: An airbag having a front side (10) and a rear side (20) connected thereto, which airbag is made of an airbag material, which encloses a volume that is filled with a deployment gas when a gas generator or a pressurized gas source is activated, and having at least one limiting strap (30), which is connected to the front side (10) at a first fastening point (31), and to the rear side (20) at a second fastening point (32. At least one of the fastening points (31, 32) has a fastening seam (51, 51′, 52, 52′) having mutually opposing sections for fastening the limiting strap (30) to the airbag material, and wherein at least one load relief slot (60) at the fastening point (31, 32) between the sections of the fastening seam (51, 51′, 52, 52′).

    Abstract: An airbag device 100 includes: an inflator 112 that is provided in a vehicle and capable of supplying gas; and an outer bag 114 that inflates, by using the gas, in a prescribed shape in front of an occupant 134 sitting in a seat 102 of the vehicle. The outer bag 114 includes an outside base fabric 122 forming an outer surface thereof, an opening part 126 provided in a prescribed area of the outside base fabric 122, and an inside base fabric 124 forming an inner peripheral surface thereof recessed in a concave shape from the opening part 126 and inflating so as to protrude partially from the opening part 126 to a side of the seat. In the airbag device 100, the inside base fabric 124 has lower tension than the outside base fabric 122 and restrains the occupant 134.

    Abstract: A side airbag device including a cushion (104), an inflator (110), and a structure such as a rotating shaft (140) built in a seat (102). The inflator (110) has a gas ejection hole inside the cushion (104), a connector (136) on the other end side, and a stud bolt (112). The cushion (104) has a bag-shaped chamber (114), an extension portion (124) into which the inflator (110) is inserted, and a predetermined tab (118) held in the vicinity of the other end side of the inflator (110). The rotating shaft (140) is disposed to pass through a space portion (E1) surrounded by the chamber (114), the extension portion (124), the inflator (110), and the tab (118), and the cushion (104) is attached to the seat (102) by the stud bolt (112).

    Abstract: A side airbag device 100 includes: a main bag 120, is built in a seat of a vehicle, and inflates and deploys toward a side of an occupant and a vehicle front side; an inner bag 122 which is formed in a bag shape independent of the main bag 120, and inflates and deploys on a vehicle rear side inside the main bag 120. An inflator 110 provided inside the inner bag 122 to supply gas; and a tension member 126 which spans between the vehicle front side and the vehicle rear side inside the inner bag 122 and is tensioned as the inner bag 122 inflates and deploys. The length of the inner bag 122 in the front-back direction of the vehicle at inflation is restricted by the tension member 126 to a predetermined range, and the inner bag therefore inflates in a vehicle width direction and pushes and spreads the vehicle rear side of the main bag 120 from the inside of the main bag 120 to both sides in the vehicle width direction.

    Abstract: A seat belt device includes a spindle (11) for retracting a seat belt (13), an electric actuator (55), a pre-tensioner (14) and a power transmission mechanism (20), wherein the power transmission mechanism (20) can reversibly switch the connection and disconnection between the electric actuator (55) and the spindle (11) before the pre-tensioner (14) is activated, while when the pre-tensioner (14) is activated. The power transmission mechanism (20) non-reversibly interrupts the connection between the electric actuator (55) and the spindle (11) via an elastic piece (60) when a torque difference between an actuator-side gear (80) and a spindle-side gear (82) becomes larger than a predetermined value.

    Abstract: An airbag device which is capable of efficiently suppressing an injury value of an occupant during an emergency. The airbag device 100 includes: an inflator 112 which is installed in a vehicle and which is capable of supplying gas; a main bag 114 which inflates to the front of a seat of the vehicle due to the gas; and an outer bag 116 which inflates so as to surround the main bag 114 due to the gas. The outer bag 116 includes an opening 118 which opens toward an occupant sitting on the seat and which exposes a portion (a rear region 120) of the main bag 114. The outer bag 116 surrounds and presses against the main bag 114, such that the portion of the main bag 114 protrudes from the opening 118 toward the occupant.
