Abstract:
A dual printing mask is used for coating a die adhering paste of a predetermined pattern on a substrate uniformly during a semiconductor packaging process. This dual printing mask includes a metal mask layer having a predetermined pattern of openings so as to receive a paste for adhering a semiconductor die onto a substrate, and a mesh layer integrally attached on the metal mask layer.
Abstract:
An internal voltage generator includes a control section and a switchable internal voltage generating circuit. The control section generates a control signal in response to a bank activation command and a bank activation signal for enabling memory banks. The internal voltage generating circuit receives a reference voltage, and responds to the control signal to output an internal voltage equal to the reference voltage. The control signal is enabled when the bank activation command and the bank activation signal are concurrently enabled. The bank activation signal is generated in response to a partial array self refresh (PASR) signal. The internal voltage may be supplied to banks selected by the bank PASR signal, thereby enabling refresh operations in the entire bank, or an internal voltage adequate to partially enable refresh operations in all the banks may be supplied. Thus, unnecessary power consumption may be effectively controlled.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a command planning apparatus of a low-earth orbit satellite, and a low-earth orbit satellite control system including the same. The present invention automates the process of executing the command plan for converting the satellite task schedule planned on the ground into telecommands available by the satellite in the low-earth orbit satellite control system, and automatically selects a data set established by the parameters related to the execution task of the satellite according to the mapping rule.
Abstract:
In general, an Internet gateway assigns an address to a node of an ad-hoc network on receipt of request for an address assignment. However, a load exerted to the Internet gateway increases. Accordingly, one (proxy node) of the nodes of an ad-hoc network can serve as a proxy node to perform an address assignment function of the Internet gateway. That is, if a node of the ad-hoc node does not receive an advertisement message, it requests the Internet gateway for address assignment to perform the proxy node function. The node is assigned with at least two addresses from the Internet gateway, and then assigns the address to the requesting node. Accordingly, a load exerted to the Internet gateway can be reduced.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a liquid crystal display comprising a first substrate made of an insulating material; pixel electrodes formed on the first substrate, the pixel electrodes having a first aperture pattern; a second substrate made of an insulating material and provided opposing the first substrate at a predetermined distance; a common electrode formed on the second substrate, the common electrode having a second aperture pattern; and a liquid crystal layer made of liquid crystal material that is injected between the first and second substrates, wherein either or both of the pixel electrodes and the common electrode include stepped portions that protrude a predetermined distance away from the substrates, between apertures of the first and/or second aperture patterns.
Abstract:
A method, medium, and system for connecting to a communication system in a network having a plurality of nodes capable of communicating with each other. The node requests an identifier to a foreign network when a router advertise (RA) message is received from the foreign network, and then the node connects to the communication system, via the foreign network, by use of the received identifier. A method, medium, and system for delegating a network identifier (prefix) from a server of a foreign network, in a network having a plurality of nodes capable of communicating with each other, so that a node can communicate with the foreign network. The prefix to be used by the nodes in the network is transmitted from the server of the foreign network to the node.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for a hybrid service discovery adapting between push-based and pull-based schemes in a mobile ad-hoc network and a system thereof. The method includes periodically transmitting a first control packet for providing service information from a service provider that is capable of providing a service to nodes located in a specified advertisement zone, transmitting a second control packet requesting the service from a service demander to one or more nodes in a network, and transmitting a third control packet including path information of the service provider if at least one of the nodes located within the advertisement zone and the service provider receives the second control packet. The method and the system can reduce the amount of control packet transmission and minimize an end-to-end delay.
Abstract:
A system and method for exchanging online information over a private network. A client with a private Internet protocol (IP) address can exchange a user datagram protocol (UDP) packet with a server with a public IP address according to a real time protocol by first sending information about its IP address to the server such that a router connecting the server to the client maps the sent IP address information to the client. Therefore, the client and server can perform two-way UDP packet communications therebetween. This enables a client with a private IP address to perform two-way voice packet communications with a Voice Over IF (VoIP) provider.
