Abstract: A terminal is disclosed, which is capable of appropriately determining a resource to which a DCI is mapped. A DCI receiver (203) receives first and second downlink (DL) control signals, and a signal demultiplexer (202) demultiplexes a DL data signal from a received signal, using the first and the second DL control signals. The DCI receiver (203) identifies a resource for the second DL control signal based on information on the first DL control signal, or information on the DL data signal, indicated by the first DL control signal.

Abstract: In the multiple short sequence based SRS, multiple items of sequence data having a short sequence length corresponding to a partial band are used for transmitting SRS in discontinuous bands. In the multiple short sequence based SRS, a terminal specifies a frequency domain to be used for transmitting a reference signal using predetermined sequence data, applies a phase shift index associated with the specified frequency domain to the reference signal, and transmits the reference signal to which the phase shift index is applied by using the specified frequency domain.

Abstract: A resource assignment determiner determines a resource for a PDSCH intended for an MTC terminal, and a transmitter transmits an MPDCCH that includes resource assignment bits indicating the resource thus determined and transmits the PDSCH using the resource thus determined. The MPDCCH is a PDCCH intended for the MTC terminal. The resource assignment bits are associated with a resource that is used when the MPDCCH and the PDSCH are transmitted in the same subframe and a resource that is used when the MPDCCH and the PDSCH are transmitted in different subframes.

Abstract: Provided is a wireless communication device. A PHICH reception unit determines whether a received signal in a PHICH region is an ACK signal or a NACK signal. When doing so, the PHICH reception unit does not receive a PHICH in a subframe in which a terminal monitors an E-PDCCH. A control signal reception unit outputs a retransmission prompting signal to a signal allocation unit when the signal outputted from the PHICH reception unit is a NACK signal and when a UL grant was not detected. Meanwhile, when a UL grant was detected, the control signal reception unit outputs the detected UL grant to the signal allocation unit. The signal allocation unit maps the transmission signal in accordance with the retransmission prompting signal and the UL grant and transmits the transmission signal from a wireless transmission unit.

Abstract: A communication apparatus includes a receiver and circuitry. In operation, the receiver receives a Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) and receives downlink control information indicating a mapping pattern of the DMRS from a plurality of mapping patterns, and the circuitry determines the mapping pattern based on the downlink control information. The plurality of mapping patterns include a first mapping pattern and a second mapping pattern. Resource elements used for the DMRS of the second mapping pattern are same as a part of resource elements used for the DMRS of the first mapping pattern. A number of the resource elements used for the DMRS of the first mapping pattern is larger than a number of the resource elements used for the DMRS of the second mapping pattern.

Abstract: Provided are base stations, user equipments and wireless communication methods related to DCI design for latency reduction. A base station comprises: circuitry operative to form either a first type of DCI or a second type of DCI depending on whether to schedule a normal TTI or a shortened TTI in a subframe; and a transmitter operative to transmit the first type of DCI or the second type of DCI in the subframe, wherein the first type of DCI and the second type of DCI are differentiable; and if the second type of DCI is transmitted and another shortened TTI is to be scheduled, the circuitry is further operative to form a third type of DCI and the transmitter is further operative to transmit the third type of DCI in a shortened TTI after said shortened TTI that is scheduled by the second type of DCI in the subframe.

In operation, the control circuitry selects a Demodulation Reference Signal (DMRS) mapping pattern from among a plurality of DMRS mapping patterns. The DMRS mapping patterns include a first DMRS mapping pattern with first DMRS resource elements to which first DMRSs in a first half of a subframe are mapped and second DMRS resource elements to which second DMRSs in a second half of the subframe are mapped. Also, in operation, the transmitter transmits downlink control information that includes a plurality of bits indicating the selected DMRS mapping pattern.

Abstract: In the present invention, regarding a narrowband used in a subframe for transmitting uplink data, if a switch is made from a first narrowband used in a first subframe to a second narrowband that is different from the first narrowband, with respect to a second subframe continuing to the first subframe, a final one symbol of the first subframe and an initial one symbol of the second subframe are punctured and set as a retuning time to transmit the uplink data in the first narrowband and the second narrowband.
