    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may experience multiple types of self-interference (SI), perform interference measurement procedures, and may identify interference mitigation procedures. The UE may identify a configuration for performing SI measurements (SIMs), where the configuration indicates a first transmission power associated with a first transmission and a second transmission power associated with a second transmission, where the second transmission power is higher than the first transmission power. The UE may transmit the first transmission at the first transmission power and the second transmission at the second transmission power, where the first transmission is associated with a first repetition frequency and the second transmission is associated with a second repetition frequency. The UE may measure SI based on transmitting the first transmission and the second transmission.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for wireless communication. In one aspect of the disclosure, a user equipment (UE) detects a beam failure of a first beam for a first component carrier (CC) based on a link quality associated with the first beam for the first CC. The first CC and a second CC are within a same group of CCs. The UE initiates one or more beam failure recovery operations associated with any CC within the same group of CCs as the first and second CCs based on a determination of a beam failure of a second beam for the second CC. The determination is based on the detection of the beam failure for the first CC and based on the first CC and the second CC being within the same group of CCs.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A communication device may transmit a random access channel (RACH) signal using a transmit beam of a set of transmit beams. The RACH signal may include a RACH preamble. The communication device may receive, based on the transmitted RACH signal, a receive beam of a set of receive beams. The communication device may determine a level of self-interference of the received beam. For example, the communication device may measure the level of self-interference of the received beam based on the transmitted RACH signal including the RACH preamble. The communication device may operate in a mode based on the determined level of self-interference.

A user equipment (UE) may receive a beam configuration for each physical cell identifier (PCI) of a set of candidate PCIs. A beam configuration for a PCI may include, for example, transmission configuration indicator (TCI) states for downlink channels and reference signals or spatial relations for uplink channels and reference signals. The UE may receive an indication of a selected subset of PCIs of the set of candidate PCIs. The UE may apply the beam configuration for each PCI of the selected subset of PCIs based on the indication of the selected subset of PCIs. The UE may then communicate according to the beam configurations for the selected subset of PCIs.

The described techniques provide for a first user equipment (UE) establishing a sidelink connection with a second UE. The first UE may identify a frame structure for the first UE to communicate with a base station. The frame structure may include one or more downlink slots and one or more uplink slots. The base station may indicate a set of resources for the sidelink connection with the second UE. The set of resources may include at least one downlink slot of the one or more downlink slots. In accordance with the indication, the first UE may communicate with the second UE on the sidelink connection and using at least one beam and the indicated set of resources. The UE may store the measured physical layer parameters and, in the event that a handover command is received from a source base station to establish a connection with a target base station of one of the neighbor base stations, use the measured physical layer parameters for an uplink communication with the target base station, where the measured physical layer parameters are unreported by the UE prior to establishing the connection with the target base station.
