    摘要: Sound damping apparatus for internal combustion engines, especially for public works or agricultural machines, and machines provided with such an apparatus.This sound damping device is intended for machines or engines mounted within a bonnet (1) and provided with a blower (3) discharging cooling air to the outside through a radiator (4). It is constituted by a sound damping element (9, 21) such as a block of expanded foam material having one or more central openings (14) oriented in the direction of flow of the air discharged by the blower and peripheral openings (16) inclined or specially shaped so as to direct the air towards the central flow passing through the central opening or openings downstream of the device. Means are provided for forming an expansion chamber (13) between the radiator and the sound damping element. There is produced as a result of this inclination a jet effect exerted by the lateral air on the central flow which produces the aspiration of a fraction of the said lateral air towards the center in the expansion chamber and a reduction of the noise level.

    摘要: A calendar mechanism for a timepiece having indicators for the day of the month and for the day of the week, in which the indicators are held in each position by a locking lever pivotally mounted for movement between operative and inoperative position with respect to the indicators. The locking lever has two integral arms, one cooperating with each of the indicators for locking and releasing them. The driving member which indexes the indicators once every twenty-four hours is provided with means for urging the locking lever into its operative position at all times except when the indicators are being indexed to new positions, so that the indicators remain in place when they are not being driven but can be independently reset at any time.

The system includes a fuel injector and a Venturi with an interior surface delimiting a premixing chamber. The arrangement includes an igniter plug of the semiconductor in shell type, a duct secured to a combustion chamber of a gas turbine engine, a floating sleeve via which the igniter plug is mounted in the duct, and a system for guiding air to cool the semiconductor of the igniter plug. The shell and the semiconductor define, at their combustion-chamber end, an annular igniter plug cavity. The shell includes orifices in the region of the igniter plug annular cavity that communicate with the annular cavity of the sleeve and orifices on its planar surface.

    摘要: According to one aspect, a hockey stick for training a person in stick handling, including an elongate upper stick portion configured to be gripped by a control hand of the person, an elongate lower stick portion rigidly coupled to the upper stick portion and configured to rotate therewith, and an elongate middle stick portion positioned between and collinear with the upper stick portion and the lower stick portion and configured to be gripped by a directional hand of the person. The middle stick portion is rotatably coupled to the elongate coupling member so that rotation of the upper stick portion causes the lower stick portion and the blade member to rotate without rotating the middle stick portion gripped by the directional hand. The hockey stick may include at least one locking mechanism coupled to the middle stick portion and at least one of the upper and lower stick portions. Each locking mechanism is movable between an unlocked position wherein the middle stick portion is rotatable relative to the upper stick portion and the lower stick portion, and a locked position wherein the upper stick portion, the lower stick portion and the middle stick portion are secured together so that rotation of the middle stick portion with respect to the upper and lower stick portions is inhibited.
