Abstract: A reeling shaft transfer rail system has two parallel substantially horizontal or slightly sloped rails for supporting the ends (25) of a reeling shaft (20). Hoses are arranged on each of the transfer rails (15) and filled or drained to move and hold the reeling shaft (20). In a method of transferring reeling shafts on transfer rails, the reeling shafts (20) are transferred on two parallel, substantially horizontal or slightly downstream of a main transfer direction inclined transfer rails (15) for supporting each of the supporting ends (25) of a reeling shaft (20). The reeling shafts (20) are transferred or positioned in the reeling shaft transfer rail system (10) by pressurizing hoses (17) arranged on each of the transfer rails. The hoses are arranged so fluid added to or withdrawn from the hoses pushes or holds the reeling shaft (20) on the transfer rails (15).

Abstract: A measuring device is releasably received within a winding core of a customer roll wound on a slitter-winder (10). The measuring device (20) is releasably fastened within the winding core by fastening element(s) (21) securing the device to the winding core (10) for rotation during winding of the fiber web around the winding core to form the customer roll. Eccentricity of the customer roll as it is wound is determined from movement, speed and/or acceleration data received from at least two sensors of the measuring device and data is stored for use in unwinding the fiber web from the customer roll and serving as control information. Tension variations in unwinding can thus be anticipated and premeditative steps taken to ensure smooth running of the fiber web in unwinding in further processing.

Abstract: A belt (10) for a sleeve roll forms a closed loop and has an inner surface (11), an outer surface (12), an elastic body (15), and a reinforcing structure (30). The reinforcing structure has first yarns (31a) arranged to a first direction (D1) of the belt, and second yarns (32a) arranged to a second direction (D2) of the belt which is parallel or substantially parallel to a travel direction of the belt, and/or perpendicular or substantially perpendicular to the first direction (D1). The belt (10) is configured to stretch elastically more in the second direction (D2) than in the first direction (D1) so that it will return to its original length after forces stretching the belt have been removed. This invention further relates to an arrangement including a belt and a sleeve roll. This invention further relates to a use of a belt.

Abstract: A coaxial heat transfer tube (100), comprising a first inner heat transfer tube (110) having straight parts (111, 113, 115, 117) and curved parts (112, 114, 116), a first outer heat transfer tube (120) having straight parts (121, 123, 125, 127) and curved parts (122, 124, 126). The first outer heat transfer tube (120) radially surrounds the first inner heat transfer tube (110) at least within the first primary straight part (121) and the first primary curved part (122). Thermally insulating material (530) has been provided in between a curved part (122) of the first outer heat transfer tube (120) and a curved part (112) of the first inner heat transfer tube (110). Neither a straight part (121) nor a curved part (122) of the first outer heat transfer tube (120) comprises a longitudinal seam. A method for making a coaxial heat transfer tube (100).

Abstract: A method for removing hydrogen sulphide ions (HS−) from a liquor (300) of a pulp mill process, the method comprising pumping the liquor (300) to an injector arrangement (710) using a pump arrangement (720) such that the pumping of the liquor (300) through a jet nozzle (115) generates suction at a gas inlet (130), whereby reagent gas (310) is mixed with the liquor (300), and letting out the treated liquor (300) from the injector arrangement (710) to a vessel (200). In this way, the liquor (300) is treated to form at least partly treated liquor (300). A corresponding use of an injector arrangement. A system for performing the method.
