摘要: A refining member comprising a refining body with a refining surface comprising first and second refiner bars separated by first and second refiner grooves, respectively. The first refiner bars extend from a radially inward position to a first radially outward position. The second refiner bars extend to a second radially outward position that is nearer to an outermost part of the refining body than the first radially outward position. The second refiner bars have a longitudinal length from about 0.6 cm to about 10 cm. The first and second refiner bars have a respective first and second maximum height extending upward from a floor of a respective, adjacent first or second refiner groove. The second maximum height is at least 0.35 mm less than the first maximum height. The first refiner bars are adapted to refine wood fibers and the second refiner bars are adapted to break up fiber bundles.

摘要: This disclosure relates to refiner plate segments having feeding grooves having a first width at a first end of the feeding groove, wherein the first end of the feeding groove is disposed closer to an inner diameter of the refiner plate segment, and a second end of the feeding groove having a second width, wherein the second end of the feeding groove is disposed closer to the outer diameter than the first end and wherein the second width is less than the first width. It is believed that the increased width of the feeding groove at the inner diameter, coupled with the change in angle or curve of the feed groove from a feeding angle to a holding angle such that the centrifugal force applied to the lignocellulosic material surpasses the plugging force, allows for improved hydraulic capacity over the refiner plate segment without reducing refining efficiency.

摘要: A refiner (1) for refining fibrous material has a first refiner element (3, 5) and a second refiner element (3, 5). The second refiner element is arranged around the first refiner element in such a manner that the first refiner element and the second refiner element have a common middle axis (7) such that there is a refining space (8) between the first refiner element and the second refiner element. The first refiner element and/or the second refiner element are arranged to rotate around the middle axis and the refiner elements have refining surfaces (4, 6), through which the fibrous material is fed into or exits the refining space (8). The refiner has, in the direction of the middle axis of the refiner elements, at least two feed regions, through which the fibrous material to be refined is feedable into the refining space (8).

摘要: The present invention provides a fire retardant antiflux fiber, the fiber is composed of the following components: cellulose 60˜80% by mass, silicon fire retardant (calculated as silicon dioxide) 15˜36% by mass, tourmaline 0.1˜5%. The present invention also provides a process of producing fire retardant antiflux fiber, in the adding step, the silicon fire retardant is added into the cellulose xanthate in the xanthation step or the viscose which was prepared after the xanthation step, the level of adding the silicon fire retardant is 19˜30%, calculated as silicon dioxide. The fire retardant antiflux fiber of the present invention has high fire retardant antiflux effect, high fiber strength and excellent negative ion generating efficacy. At the same time, the viscose also maintains excellent filtering performance in the procedure using above production process, reducing the production standstill caused by the viscose blocking up filter screen, improving production efficiency. The viscose fiber can be used to fabricate nonwoven fabric widely.

摘要: Thermomechanical pulp is an important process for producing fibrous mass used in papermaking. A two-level control strategy that stabilizes and optimizes the refining process has been developed. The Stabilization layer consists of a multivariable model predicative range controller that regulates the refiner line operations. The Quality Optimization layer provides the pulp quality control as measured by an online pulp quality (freeness, fibre length) sensor. This control startegy leverages the natural decoupling in the process. The modular design technique is able to handle multiple refiner lines that empty into a common latency chest. A global optimizer is also used to integrate and coordinate the two layers for enhanced constraint handling.
