    Abstract: Disclosed are systems and techniques for performing sidelink communications. For instance, a first client device can determine a first transmit power parameter for transmitting sidelink communications. The first transmit power parameter can either be received from a base station associated with the first client device or it can be a default parameter based on the first client device not being associated with a base station. The first client device can transmit, to a second client device, a first sidelink transmission having a first power level corresponding to the first transmit power parameter. The first client device can receive, from the second client device, a first sidelink reception having a second power level corresponding to a second transmit power parameter.

    Abstract: A first UE in a UE group may determine that a sidelink channel is available for data transmission and transmit SCI reserving a COT on the sidelink channel. A second may receive, from the first UE, the SCI reserving the COT on the sidelink channel and transmitting the sidelink transmission on the sidelink channel using one or more resources of the inter-group sharable resources. The COT may include a first set of resources reserved for the first UE, an intra-group sharable resources capable of being shared by the UE group, and an inter-group sharable resources capable of being shared by the second UE outside of the UE group. The second UE may perform the CAT 1 or CAT 2 LBT procedure to contend for the inter-group sharable resources. The access to the inter-group sharable resources may be limited.

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for search space channel sensing in sidelink communication between one or more sensors/actuators (SAs) and programmable logic controller (PLC) in internet of things (IoT) applications. Particularly, the techniques described herein configure a search space (e.g., subset of all available sub-channels/resources) for transmission and reception of sidelink packets (e.g., physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH) and physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH)) between the PLC from the one or more SAs. Thus, in some instances, the UE may perform congestion control metrics for a one or more search spaces in which the UE may transmit sidelink communications. The congestion control metrics that may be limited to the search space may preserve UE resources that would otherwise need to be expended to perform channel sensing on an entire resource pool prior to initiating sidelink communication.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for sending a configuration for conditional configured grant (CG) occasions for uplink transmission to a user equipment (UE). Each conditional CG occasion may be associated with multiple conditional CG resources. Each conditional CG resource may be associated with a sending window. The UE may monitor within sensing windows for conditional CG resources of a certain conditional CG occasion for over the air (OTA) signals from other UEs to determine if the conditional CG resources are available for uplink transmission. The UE may skip the conditional CG occasion when the conditional CG resources are not available. The UE may perform uplink transmission on the conditional CG resources when the conditional CG resources are available.

    Abstract: A base station may associate multiple user equipment (UEs) with one or more UE groups and generate group common downlink control information (DCI) for each UE group for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) cancellation, such that group common DCI may be transmitted to UEs of a respective UE group. The base station may associate each of UEs with a respective UE group, wherein the UEs are configured with SPS configurations by the base station, each SPS configuration configuring respective SPS occasions. The base station may further determine to cancel one or more SPS occasions associated with at least one of the SPS configurations, generate one or more group common DCI for the one or more UE groups to cancel the one or more SPS occasions, and transmit the one or more group common DCI to one or more UEs associated with the at least one of the SPS configurations.

    Abstract: A method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) determines a downlink/uplink (DL/UL) switching capability of the UE, and reports the DL/UL switching capability to a network. The DL/UL switching capability may indicate a quantity of DL/UL switch points, N, supported by the UE, and a time duration to which the quantity of DL/UL switch points is applied. The DL/UL switching capability may indicate a minimum link duration for which the UE should maintain a link direction after a previous DL/UL switch operation and before a next DL/UL switch operation. The DL/UL switching capability may include a DL/UL switching delay indicating a time specified for the UE to complete a DL/UL switching operation. The DL/UL switching capability may be based on a reference subcarrier spacing (SCS).

    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to mechanisms for using block acknowledgments to acknowledge semi-persistently scheduled (SPS) occasions from multiple SPS configurations. An example method generally includes determining that a slot scheduled for reporting acknowledgment feedback for an SPS physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) potentially overlaps with at least one downlink or flexible symbol, deciding whether to cancel or to delay reporting the acknowledgment feedback to a network entity based on one or more conditions, and canceling or delaying reporting the acknowledgment feedback to the network entity, in accordance with the decision.
