Abstract:
Assembly of sports equipment fillable with liquid and a gel-forming means, and sports equipment for use in this assembly. Article of sports equipment fillable with liquid such as a punch-bag. A punch-bag which comes from the factory ready for use takes up much space, is relatively heavy and is easily damaged in handling during transport. According to the invention the punch-bag is supplied to the user as assembly of the empty punch-bag (1) and a gel-forming means. The punch-bag (1) can then be supplied in empty state (small volume, low weight). After purchase the user can fill the punch-bag with water, to which the gel-forming means is added so that the punch-bag acquires the desired striking properties, in particular sloshing of the water during use is prevented in this way.

Abstract:
A horizontal bar includes two side supports, a top bar, and a swing member. The side supports are provided at upper ends with two symmetrical locating holes, through which two outer ends of the top bar are extended to thereby connect the top bar to the side supports. The swing member includes horizontally paralleled upper and lower bars connected to each other via a plurality of connecting plates vertically extended between the upper and lower bars. The upper bar is a hollow tubular member put around the top bar, and the lower bar is covered with a sleeve. The horizontal bar includes simple parts that can be easily assembled and disassembled, and can be connected to other types of sporting goods for more kinds of exercises.
Abstract:
Apparatus for providing biofeedback sports training are described to improve training in a convenient form. Aspects include a sparring device that converts impact and training rates into audio streams following human speech patterns. A device is described for coaching swings such as in golf. Another aspect of the invention is a strength training device utiling a multicylinder piston device.
Abstract:
A striking bag assembly which includes a primary bag suspended from a fixed support and an anchor bag suspended from the primary bag. The anchor bag is smaller and heavier and, therefore, considerably denser than the primary bag. More specifically, the anchor bag is pivotally connected to the primary bag and the primary bag is pivotally connected to the fixed support.
Abstract:
An apparatus for practice and demonstrating defense arts, such as karate, includes a vertical wall-mounted main frame unit assembled of a pair of vertical, symmetrical, cylinder shaped tubes secured to three horizontally extending wall mounting brackets or to a free standing frame unit. The purpose of the invention is to support a height adjustable hanging target, such as a speed bag or heavy bag, which the artisan strikes with various human appendages, such as the hand or foot and other certain appropriate weapons. The hanging target is supported by a striking bag carriage assembly and a striking bag platform as it rides along the vertical tubing.
Abstract:
A device for physical training, such as in martial arts, boxing and similar disciplines that involve punching, kicking, wing chun kung fu drills, etc. These training and drills are performed without the need for a partner by the use of a training accessory that mounts to a heavy training bag and which provides targets or wing chun type blocking arms which the trainee can punch, kick, or block, for example. The training accessory has a frame that mounts to the heavy bag by use of cinch straps, and includes a pair of depending bars positioned one on each side of the bag. Accessory arms selectively mount to the depending bars and carry or define punching, kicking, or striking targets or wing chun blocking arms. Straps are secured to the heavy bag to prevent its twisting undesirably in response to torque generated by impacts and blocking movements of the trainee.
Abstract:
A stand base is bolted to a concrete floor. A center pole extends upward from the center of stand base. Four support struts are attached to the stand base and to center pole. At the upper portion of the center pole are several different types of exercising equipment. On side A, near the upper part of center pole, is an extension pole extending outward and supporting a heavy bag. On side B, is an adjustable crank, a back board and a speed bag attached to the back board. On side C of the center pole is a chin up bar. On one end of the chin up bar is a hand grip bar, and threaded into one end of the hand grip bar is an I-bolt. Directly below the I-bolt and located at the base of the stand is another I-bolt. The purpose of the two I-bolts is to attach flexible lines to the upper and lower I-bolts and a punching bag in the center of the two flexible lines.
