Abstract:
An apparatus for the production of a paper web, includes: a first embossing unit (1) with a first embossing cylinder (2) and a corresponding counter-cylinder (3) for embossing a first paper ply (4); a second embossing unit (5) with a second embossing cylinder (6) and a corresponding counter-cylinder (7) for embossing a second paper ply (8), such that, once embossed, the plies have a series of oppositely oriented reliefs (R4, R8), the embossing units (1, 5) being synchronized so that the reliefs are nested into each other; a sizing unit (1C, 2C, 3C) associated with the first embossing cylinder (2) to distribute a predetermined amount of glue on the side of the second ply (8) opposed to that from which the respective reliefs (R8) emerge; a structure (11) for joining to each other the plies (4, 8) exiting from the apparatus.
Abstract:
A method for producing a paper roll by conveying a first smooth ply between an upper embossing roll with first projections defining a decorative motif, and a glue distribution or cliché roll; maintaining the cliché roll side by side to the upper embossing roll, the first ply interposed between the upper embossing roll and the cliché roll and subjected to incisions and to glue deposits at the first projections on one side of the first ply facing towards the upper embossing roll and on the opposite side of the first ply facing towards the cliché roll; conveying a second ply between the upper embossing roll and a coupling or marriage roll; maintaining the marriage roll side by side to the upper embossing roll by exerting a coupling pressure to perform the final coupling between the first ply and the second ply at the glue deposits forming a multilayer paper.
Abstract:
The cellulose product comprises at least a first ply of embossed cellulose material and a second ply of embossed cellulose material, glued together. The first ply comprises: a first series of embossing protuberances with a first height (H′1) and a top surface to which a glue is applied which bonds the first ply and the second ply to one another; a second series of micro-embossing protuberances with a second height (H′2) lower than the first height (H′1); a third series of micro-embossing protuberances with a third height (H′3) lower than the second height (H′2). The protuberances of the first series are distributed over areas of the first ply, where the micro-embossing protuberances of the second series and the micro-embossing protuberances of the third series are absent.
Abstract:
A hybrid multi-ply tissue paper product comprising at least three plies made of tissue paper base-sheet is described. At least one ply is a structured ply produced by a structuring manufacturing method. The structured ply includes a structured back face. At least another ply is a wet pressed ply produced by a wet press manufacturing method. The structured ply is positioned and orientated with respect to the at least two other plies such that the structured back face of the structured ply is facing the at least two other plies so as to dampen a two-sidedness effect related to the structured back face.
Abstract:
A plant for the production of embossed articles is disclosed. Upstream of the embossing group for the plant and add on a glue dispensing unit and/or a printing unit having a cliché roll for the application of the glue on a web of band or ink on the band is provided. The web or the band moves between the cliché roll and a contrast cylinder. Actuator means are provided for approaching or moving away a portion of the cliché roll from the contrast cylinder. Thus, regardless of the type of paper used, it is possible to obtain a perfect adhesion of the webs without jeopardizing the softness of the paper used. It is also possible to obtain the printing in selected areas of the product being processed.

Abstract:
To provide a method of producing water-disintegrable paper capable of addressing a disadvantage of adhesion of a base-paper sheet to an embossing apparatus when the base-paper sheet impregnated with a water-soluble binder is embossed, achieving simple manufacturing and low manufacturing cost, and minimizing the likelihood of paper powder remaining on a dry surface of a cleaned object after use.To produce water-disintegrable paper, a base-paper sheet 2 in a non-wet state before a water-soluble binder is impregnated is embossed in order to form a bulking unit 17, made up of a plurality of uneven elements 12, on the base-paper sheet 2; a water-soluble binder solution 5 is sprayed to the base-paper sheet 2 having the bulking unit 17 formed, from outside of a face of the base-paper sheet 2 to impregnate the water-soluble binder solution 5 into the base-paper sheet 2; the base-paper sheet 2 impregnated with the water-soluble binder solution 5 is dried; the base-paper sheet 2 is folded after the drying; and an aqueous chemical solution is sprayed to the base-paper sheet 2 thus being folded to impregnate the aqueous chemical solution into the base-paper sheet 2.
Abstract:
The embossing unit includes in combination: a first support for a first embossing roller and a second support for a first pressure roller, cooperating with the first embossing roller. The second support presents two seats to receive and support the first pressure roller in two different positions with respect to this support. The embossing unit also includes a third support for a second embossing roller. The third support can take at least two different operating positions. A fourth support is provided to support a second pressure roller suitable to cooperate with the second embossing roller and suitable to take at least an operating position and an idle position. Finally, there is provided a fifth support with a double seat to receive and support in two different positions alternatively a marrying roll or the second pressure roller.
