Abstract:
A watering wand includes a long tube and a connection frame connected to an end of the long tube, a rotatable member and a head are connected to the connection frame. A connection member and a guide tube are connected to the other end of the long tube. The guide tube has a moving piece movably received therein and the moving piece includes a radial extension which is movably engaged with an axial slot. defined in the guide tube. A sleeve with a spiral groove is mounted to the guide tube and the radial extension is movably engaged with the spiral groove. A link has an end thereof fixed to the rotatable member and the other end of the link is fixed with the moving piece, so that when rotating the sleeve, the link is pulled to rotate the rotatable member such that the head is rotated. A watering nozzle is connected to the head and is able to water different positions by simply rotating the sleeve.
Abstract:
An adjustable spray wand is disclosed. The spray wand comprises a spray head body, a swiveling member, a locking mechanism, and a handle. The spray head body is rotatably coupled to the swiveling member. The spray head further has a locking mechanism having a contact arm having a first position allowing the swiveling member to rotate relative to the spray head body and an engagement position engaging the swiveling member and locking the swiveling member in one position. The swiveling member is coupled to a handle with a conduit, which may be coupled to a water source. In operation, water flows from the water source, through the handle, through the swiveling member, through the spray head body, and out of the outlets in a variably selected spray pattern.
Abstract:
The invention intends to prevent the occurrence of a phenomenon that air is sucked through an ejection port formed at a nozzle end when a plunger rod is retracted to move away from a valve seat. In a method or apparatus for ejecting liquid droplets in which a liquid under regulated pressure, the liquid being stored in a container as required, is ejected while it is caused to fly in the form of liquid droplets from a valve ejection port, bubbles are prevented from being mixed into the liquid through the ejection port by controlling a supply amount of the liquid in a manner being able to follow a pressure difference between the ejection port and a flow passage in a valve body. The liquid is continuously ejected at a high-speed tact. The ejection port is opened with a plunger rod retracted by air pressure, and the liquid droplet is ejected through the ejection port with the plunger rod advanced by a resilient force of a spring. Bubbles are prevented from mixed in the liquid through the ejection port upon retraction of the plunger rod by controlling a retraction speed of the plunger rod in accordance with an air flow rate.
Abstract:
An oscillating spray device comprising an oscillation chamber. A power nozzle for projecting a jet of liquid under pressure into the oscillation chamber in a given direction. A reversing member in the chamber has a reversing wall for reversing the direction of flow of the fluid jet in a direction 180° opposite the given direction. A system of vortices is formed thereby for alternately passing fluid to one side or the other of the reversing member. A pair of passages, one on each side of the reversing member, convey alternate pulses of fluid through the passageways in the given direction past the reversing member to an outlet to ambient, and an island barrier positioned in the outlet to ambient and forming two separate passageways to the outlet and a third passageway between the reversing member and the island barrier. The spray characteristics can be adjusted by changing the spacing between the reversing member and island barrier.
Abstract:
A flexible shower arm assembly that allows the user to repeatably adjust the position of the shower head in three dimensions by configuring the shape of the shower arm attached between the water source, such as a shower pipe, and the water dispenser, such as a shower head. The particular position of the shower head, and the direction of the shower spray, can be modified by re-configuring the shape of the shower arm. The flexible shower arm holds the desired position until modified by the user. The flexible shower arm is sealingly attached to the shower pipe by a pipe connector nut, and is sealingly and pivotally attached to the shower head by a connection structure. The flexible shower arm assembly includes an elongated flexible member defining a fluid transfer path, the flexible member having a first end and an opposite second end. The first end of the flexible member is connected in fluid communication with the shower pipe, and the second end of the flexible member is connected in fluid communication to a shower head. A sheath covers the flexible arm from the first end to the second end.
Abstract:
A showerhead extension arm comprising a generally tubular body portion, first and second hub members, a showerhead engaging portion, and a shower arm coupling. The first hub member is rotationally secured to a first end of the tubular body portion and the second hub member is rotationally secured to a second end of the tubular body portion. Each of the hub members permit the flow of fluid therethrough. The showerhead engaging portion permits the showerhead extension arm to be secured to a showerhead such that the showerhead is permitted to rotate relative to an axis generally perpendicular to the tubular body portion and to simultaneously rotate relative to an axis generally parallel to the tubular body portion.
Abstract:
A warewash machine includes a housing including an area for receiving wares to be washed and a liquid dispensing arm removably positioned within the housing, the liquid dispensing arm including a nozzle receiving opening. Removably positioned in the nozzle opening is a nozzle that is configured to output liquid in a specific output pattern. The nozzle receiving opening and the nozzle are cooperatively shaped and configured such that when the nozzle is inserted in the nozzle receiving opening the nozzle is automatically positioned such that an orientation of the specific output pattern relative to the area is automatically set to a specific orientation.
Abstract:
A firefighting nozzle capable of selectively producing only a solid stream, only a fog pattern or a combination of both. The passage for the fog liquid can be opened to a flushing position for flushing debris therefrom. A solid stream sleeve is removably attached to a nozzle body for allowing discharge of solid streams having different diameters. A valve ball having primary and secondary flow passages is movable to positions for supplying liquid therethrough to both solid stream and annular fog supply passages, or to only the annular fog supply passage while closing the solid stream passage.
Abstract:
Monodisperse nozzle produces the spray where droplets are of the same size. Advantages of this nozzle are circular outlet what prevents blockage of the nozzle and flexible slit width what gives opportunity for adjustment of the drop size and flow rate. The principle of the construction of the monodisperse nozzle is calotte placed in the conical outlet what causes specific flow of liquid. Separate streams are formed what leads in production of the monodisperse spray. Axial position of the calotte can be adjusted by winding of the stem for which calotte is connected while screws placed on the head of the nozzle can adjust radial position of the calotte.
Abstract:
A remotely controllable apparatus and technique for the removal of “CRUD” from surfaces within a nuclear Reactor Pressure Vessel includes a flexible, high pressure water jetting lance assembly for delivering intense water pressure (up to 20,000 psi) via nozzle(s) directly to the areas containing the highly radioactive “CRUD” material. The jetting lance assembly is positioned to the contamination site with either a guide tube having any predetermined shape and into which the lance assembly is disposed or a positioning member attached to the lance assembly, either of which may be torqued and manipulated until the nozzle end of the lance assembly is in position. Various other embodiments include multiple nozzles, adapters that have a specific shaped lumen, one or more sensor devices is communication with processing units near the proximal end of the apparatus.
