    摘要: In a method for generating a measurement protocol for medical imaging of an object under examination, measurement parameters of the measurement protocol are divided into a protocol structure with a base class and classes supplementing the base class. The base class includes only hardware-independent measurement parameters and the supplementary classes includes only hardware-specific measurement parameters. A method for transferring a measurement protocol, a measurement protocol generation computer, a measurement protocol conversion apparatus, and a medical imaging system make use of such a measurement protocol.

    摘要: A magnetic resonance (MR) imaging system includes a transmit radio frequency (RF) coil assembly comprising multiple capacitor banks each coupled to at least one diode that is characterized by a high breakdown voltage such that when the transmit RF coil assembly applies at least one slice-selecting RF pulse to a portion of a subject placed in the magnet to select a particular slice for MR imaging, the capacitor banks are selectively adjusted to improve an RF transmission characteristics of the RF coil assembly in transmitting the at least one slice-selecting RF pulse. The MR imaging system may further include a receive radio frequency (RF) coil assembly configured to, in response to at least the slice-selecting RF pulse, receive at least one response radio frequency (RF) pulse emitted from the selected slice of the portion of the subject; a housing; a main magnet; gradient coils; and a control unit.

    摘要: A system and method for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and static field (B0) shimming. A coil system includes a conductive loop configured to be arranged proximate to a region of interest (ROI). The coil system also includes an alternating current (AC) circuit electrically connecting the conductive loop to an AC electrical connection configured to be coupled to an MRI system to communicate medical imaging signals received by the conductive loop from the ROI during a medical imaging procedure to the MRI system. The coil system further includes a direct current (DC) circuit electrically connecting the conductive loop to a DC electrical connection configured to be coupled to a DC power source and a plurality of circuit components configured to block DC signals from reaching the AC electrical connection in order to produce a spatially varying static magnetic field for shimming inhomogenieties of the static field.
