Abstract:
A characteristic impedance of an electric transmission line is measured by way of extraction. In the method, a first probe and a second probe are provided, wherein the first probe and the second probe are separable and independently operable probes. A first characteristic impedance of a first circuit where a first terminal of the first probe and a first terminal of the second probe are directly interconnected to each other is first measured. Then a second characteristic impedance of a second circuit where the first terminal of the first probe and the first terminal of the second probe are connected to opposite terminals of the electric transmission line, respectively, is measured. The characteristic impedance of the electric transmission line can then be obtained according to the first characteristic impedance and the second characteristic impedance.
Abstract:
In an RF device, an RF circuit includes at least two RF transmitting/receiving elements; and an RF switch controlled to selectively electrically couple to one of the RF transmitting/receiving elements for transmitting/receiving an RF signal in response to a control signal. In addition, a testing circuit includes a first filter unit having a first external terminal electrically coupled to a testing signal and a second external terminal electrically coupled to the RF circuit, wherein the first filter unit is configured to allow the testing signal to enter the RF circuit while blocking an RF signal transmitted in the RF circuit from entering the testing circuit; and a testing-result informing unit having an external input electrically coupled to the first external terminal, and determining contents of the control signal according to an electric level at the external input.
Abstract:
For efficient redundancy power supplying, a voltage drop device, a power selection device, a voltage detection device and a switch are provided in a power control circuit of a redundancy power supply system. The voltage drop device performs a voltage drop operation to convert a redundancy operating voltage into a standby voltage. The power selection device receives the main operating voltage and the standby voltage, and selectively outputting one of the main operating voltage and the standby voltage, which is of a higher level. The voltage detection device outputs a control signal according to a comparison result of the main operating voltage and a threshold. The switch is selectively conducted or interrupted according to the control signal. A voltage drop of power passing through the conducted switch is less than a voltage drop of power passing through the voltage drop device.

A playing system and a plying method are provided. The playing system is selectively in communication with a portable device. The playing system includes a first playing device and a server. When the portable device is within a first detecting range corresponding to the first playing device, the first playing device is in communication with the portable device and issues a first playing request. The server is in communication with the first playing device for providing a multimedia stream. After the first playing request is received by the server, the multimedia stream is transmitted from the server to the first playing device, so that the multimedia stream is played by the first playing device.
