Abstract:
A rotary dial device having a click stop mechanism, includes a stationary member; a rotary dial rotatably supported by the stationary member; a ball guide groove formed on the stationary member to extend in a radial direction of the rotary dial; a ball positioned in the ball guide groove; at least one protrusion and at least one depression which are formed on the rotary dial along one of two imaginary cylindrical surfaces with axes thereof on an axis of the rotary dial, the two imaginary cylindrical surfaces being positioned radially outside and inside the ball guide groove in the radial direction of the rotary dial, respectively; and a cylindrical resilient member positioned along the other of the two imaginary cylindrical surfaces to bring the ball into pressing contact with any one of the protrusion and the depression by resiliency of the cylindrical resilient member.
Abstract:
A portable electronic device provided with a folding type image-indicating device is provided. The electronic device comprises an operational member and a light source. The operational member is transparent or translucent and it is exposed when the image-indicating device is folded. The light source supplies light to the operational member. When electric power is supplied to the image-indicating device, the light supplied from the light source illuminates the operational member.
Abstract:
A laser scanning device includes a semiconductor laser that emits a laser beam, a laser power detector that detects laser beam power of the semiconductor laser, a reference voltage generator that generates reference voltage for controlling the laser beam power of the semiconductor laser in accordance with a laser power control signal provided from an external device, and a laser driver that compares the reference voltage generated by the reference voltage generator and the laser beam power detected by the laser power detector to control a driving current supplied to the semiconductor laser for emitting the laser beam. The laser scanning device further includes an abnormal condition detector that detects the laser power control signal received by the reference voltage generator. When the detected laser power control signal differs from a predetermined signal, which indicates that the connection between the reference voltage generator and the external device is poor, the abnormal condition detector stops the laser driver from operating.
Abstract:
A lens barrel includes a non-rotatable annular ring and a circumferential guide groove; a first rotatable ring supported inside the annular ring and including a rotation-guiding projection slidably engaged in the circumferential guide groove; a second rotatable ring which rotates with the first rotatable ring and is only axially movable relative to the first ring, including an engaging projection slidably engaged in the circumferential guide groove with the rotation-guiding projection, wherein the engaging projection is insertable/removable from the circumferential guide groove through the insertable/removable aperture at a first assembling/disassembling angular position; and a coupling ring which is positioned inside the first and second rotatable rings. A coupler provided between the coupling ring and the second rotatable ring is disengaged at a second assembling/disassembling angular position. The first and second assembling/disassembling angular positions are substantially the same.
Abstract:
Original image data has original luminance data and color difference data. The original luminance data is separated into first luminance data and second luminance data. The second luminance data undergoes low-pass filter process so as to produce the third luminance data. The first luminance data and the third luminance data are synthesized. Due to this, the soft focus picture image, which consists of the synthesized luminance data and the difference luminance data, is generated.
Abstract:
A retractable lens barrel includes an annular ring having an axis parallel to and eccentric relative to an optical axis of the lens barrel; a holder accommodated within the annular ring and supporting a holder lens group; a first lens group aligned with the optical axis and movable towards the annular ring during accommodation of the first lens group within the annular ring; a first actuator of an exposure control component, the first actuator positioned inside the annular ring in a first space between an inner peripheral surface of the annular ring and an outer edge of the first lens group accommodated in the annular ring; and a second actuator of the exposure control component, the second actuator being positioned inside the annular ring in a second space between the inner peripheral surface of the annular ring and the movement path of the holder lens group.
Abstract:
A positioning mechanism includes a moving body which can be moved in accordance with a drive force supplied from a drive source, a stopper which defines a movement extremity of the moving body, and a biasing device which engages with the moving body when the moving body is moved to the vicinity of the movement extremity and which converts, after engagement, the force from the moving body into a force to bias the moving body toward the stopper.
Abstract:
A zoom strobe device suitable for a super wide angle, in which a distance between a reflector, which is provided on the base thereof with a rod-shaped tubular light emitting tube and a Fresnel lens, is varied to vary a flash angle of illumination, wherein the zoom strobe device satisfies the following conditions (1) and (2): 0.08
Abstract:
A binocular telescope with a photographing function comprises a pair of telescopic optical systems, a photographing optical system, and a pair of reticle elements, on which reticles are formed. The reticle elements are provided in the telescopic optical systems for focusing the telescopic optical systems. The distance between the optical axes of the telescopic optical systems can be adjusted, so that the reticle images are fused. The shapes of the fused reticle images are geometrically non-coordinate with each other.
Abstract:
A reference plate is situated on an optical axis of an eyepiece. The reference plate includes a first glass plate and a second glass plate. One surface of the first glass plate and one surface of the second glass plate are bonded. Cross hairs are formed on the bonded surface of the first glass plate by using a chromium plating and so on. A radius of curvature of the bonded surface accords with the field curvature of the sagittal image surface of the eyepiece.
