Abstract:
A technique provides access to content within a computing environment. The technique involves identifying a network address to a resource which is currently blocked from being accessed via the network address due to operation of a content filter. The technique further involves, based on previously accessed content, modifying the operation of the content filter to unblock access to the resource via the network address. The technique further involves, after the operation of the content filter is modified to unblock access to the resource via the network address, permitting access to the resource via the network address.
Abstract:
Methods and systems for performing secure device selection based on sensitive content detection are described herein. The methods and systems may analyze content being accessed via a virtual session established with a first device to determine that at least a portion of the content is sensitive content, determine information indicating one or more security features of the first device and one or more security features of a second device associated with a user of the first device, determine, based on the information, that the second device is more secure than the first device, and, responsive to the determination that the second device is more secure than the first device, transfer the virtual session to the second device or enter a more secure configuration of the first device.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed towards methods and systems for redirecting an access request to an unsecure virtual machine. A computing device may execute a hypervisor hosting a secure virtual machine and an unsecure virtual machine. A control virtual machine, hosted by a hypervisor executing on the computing device, may intercept a request to access an unsecure resource. The unsecure resource may include one of: a file, an application and an uniform resource locator (URL). The control virtual machine may further determine that the request originates from a secure virtual machine executing on the computing device. The control virtual machine may redirect, responsive to the determination, the request to an unsecure virtual machine executing on the computing device, whereupon the unsecure virtual machine may provide access to the requested unsecure resource.
