Abstract: A price tag system comprising a shelf, a price tag supporting bracket mounted on the shelf and a price tag supported by the bracket. The price tag comprises a plurality of zones. Abstract: A device for advertising products on retail store shelving which includes an advertising placard adapted to be suspended from a shelf. The placard includes an elongated card which is folded to form a front panel and a side panel. The side panel is positioned substantially at right angles to the front panel and its upper edge abuts against the shelf when suspended from the front edge of the shelf by a suspender strap. The side panel supports the front panel at a predetermined angle relative to the vertical. The side panel may bear advertising indicia thereon which is visible when viewed from the side and may be supported in its angular displacement from the front panel by a return panel which transverses the distance between the distal end of the side panel and the reverse side of the card.

Abstract: A merchandise display hook is disclosed, which includes a base member of springy sheet metal, formed into a U-shape, with the open side of the U-shape facing inward for mounting on a price tag molding along the front edge of a shelf. A wire-like display hook member has a vertical support portion mounted by means of two aligned openings in the base. A projection on the support portion, when aligned with notches in the openings, allows assembly of the two parts when the hook is rotated to extend rearwardly. With the parts thus oriented, and the upper and lower arms of the base member squeezed together, the parts may be quickly and easily permanently assembled. The new arrangement facilitates on-site assembly of the hooks by the user and enables significant reduction in the cost of manufacture and marketing without compromise of product quality or performance.

Abstract: The price display module has a clear plastic light transmission and support member or light pipe on the back of a bezel to display an indicia on the pre-coiled strip through the bezel aperture and illuminated by light reflected through the member or light pipe from behind the bezel to the front of the member. Abstract: A storeroom bin marker which includes a base member having indicia thereon, and a rotatable view blocking member which can be selectively rotated to cover some, all, or none of the indicia, to thereby indicate the supply or reorder status of a stocked item. The base member has front and top panels at right angles with respect to each other, and is designed to fit over the front and top edges of a storage shelf. The bin marker has mounting holes in its front and top panels which can be used, with an elastic cord member, to secure the bin marker to wire shelves; or which can be used with screws to secure the bin marker to a solid shelf. Alternatively, the bin marker can be adhesively mounted to solid shelves. The front panel of the bin marker is provided with a pair of parallel, spaced apart bin label retainers for releasably holding a replaceable bin label. The top panel tapers in thickness towards its free end to avoid snagging of stocked items on it when they are removed from the shelf; and the free end of the top panel projects downwardly to allow the bin marker to seat firmly on shelves of the type having an upwardly extending article retaining lip on their top front edge.

Abstract: A shelf display clip for mounting display and/or informational literature and material is adapted to be secured to an elongate channel extrusion such as the type which is commonly provided on a stock shelf in a grocery store for retention of computer price cards and numerals. The display clip includes a main clip element having a center body portion and at least two radiating legs, each leg having integrally formed at the outer end thereof a wedge foot and being resiliently deflectable for insertion into a channel defined by opposed parallel lips on the front face of such channel extrusion with the feet being urged by the resilience of the legs into tight engagement with at least one of the lips firmly to hold the display clip to the extrusion. A male fastener element such as a dart or button fastener is receivable with a lock or friction fit in a forwardly opening bore in the center portion and/or an offset portion of the display clip for securing the display and/or informational material or a container for such material to the main clip element either with a perpendicular or flush mount.
